I'm tall, 44" chest and 36 x 36 trousers, so getting things to fit is always a challenge. The 44 long jacket is perfect, waistcoat in Large size (not XL) is perfect but 36 trousers too tight all over. Changed them for 38 waist but in long these are still only 33 leg, with only about an inch possible to take down on the hem. They will be ok but I wish they'd offer a longer leg or more scope for adjustments.

Bought these for my husband to match a jacket bought previously. Apart from having to take the legs up a fraction they are a perfect fit. My husband is incredibly fussy when it comes to suits - but even he has to admit that he has a remarkably well fitting and good looking suit. He will look very smart at our Granddaughters’s wedding. It is such a good idea to be able to buy suit jackets and trousers separately. Well done M & S.

Bought the trousers along with the jacket to make up a suit for my daughters wedding. Jacket size was spot on however, the trousers were far too small. I found this unusual as has never been an issue with my other M&S suits. My future son in law had the very same problem as we are all having the same style for the wedding. We’ve both had to go up 2 sizes!

Being returned, do not look as good as standard M&S trousers which also have flexible waistband that these do not have. Very expensive for what you get!

Extremely small fitting

I ordered these trousers for my husband in the sale and was delighted as they were extremely well priced. They are lovely quality however, my husband is normally size 34 and these trousers were such a small fit that he couldn’t even get them on! Not sure if it was a fault in the pair we got or they are all like this. M & S sizes are normally a generous fit.
