Syrah wine
Yes, I recommend this
This is a very smooth and delicious wine and with the 25% discount applied for a whole case, was good value in my opinion.

Delicious, juicy affordable Syrah. And just 12% alcohol. Made using carbonic maceration and no oak influence. Lovely!

Syrah de l'Ardeche
No, I don't recommend this
This wine is undrinkable. I have tried a glass (which were sips) on two occasions and couldn't drink any more. It has an 'animal' aroma - I can't think of a better word and is almost fizzy and tastes disgusting. I think it is past it's best. Is there any way I can return the remaining 5 bottles? I am not a novice wine drinker (I'm a member of your Wine Club) and I know I bad wine when I drink it.

Not one for leaving reviews but I took advantage of a very good home delivery offer for this wine I normally enjoy from the store.

Brilliant value
Yes, I recommend this
This wine is full of dark brooding fruit but not remotely heavy or in your face, and it has a nice acidic tang at the finish. I reckon I could drink a lot of this, but I've run out! At £6.99 it is amazing value for money, so I can get some more.

Pleasant enough
Yes, I recommend this
A pleasant enough smooth wine although not one I would remember. A good all-rounder but not distinctive enough to make me rush to re-order
