It's the first time I have used this and it slows down the bleaching out of my hair colour. It smells lovely and is not heavy.

I used this for 2weeks in the Maldives recently and my colour didn't fade at all. Incredibly effective!

I've been searching for years for a sun-protective spray for holidays that doesn't make hair feel either a) laden with oil or b) matted and difficult to drag a comb through. This does neither (as long as you don't go crazy with it) - very pleased.

Love this product as I love being outdoors and the sun tends to fade my coloured red hair. A quick spray is all it takes to protect my hair. The bottle is also the right size to keep handy in your bag.

I used this product on wet hair while I was on holiday, I fee it did really protect my bleached hair from further sun damage. I would use it always when on holiday now.

Protects hair and while looks sticky when you first spray it on, it soon dries and you wouldn't know it was there

I bought this hair veil along with the the chlorine stripping body wash and have to say I am a tad disappointed. Other reviewers have said that these products have a lovely smell but I disagree. The smell of both of these products and particularly the hair veil are very very strong and not that pleasant. Considering Avedas natural plant ethiccsc I can only describe the smell as being very very chemical - when spraying the veil I had to make doubly sure I had plenty of ventilation.

I have been using his product for a number of years now to help protect my hair and the colour whilst away in the sun. The product normally lasts two two week holidays.

Before trying this product last year I did quite a bit of research online and this one came out on top. The reviews were right this is an absolute must especially if you have colour treated hair. My hair has quite a lot of highlights in it and I need to protect it whilst in the sun to avoid a nasty brassy look. This product does exactly what it claims to do, my colour remains the same as at the start of the holiday and it protects the condition of my hair which I am very particular about. My hair is soft and silky, I use this product in combination with the sun care body and hair wash and the sun care conditioner. Well worth buying all three definitely worth it.

This product is fantastic. It is the one thing I cannot be without in the summer and have been buying it for many years. I have colour treated hair so the sun is a little gremlin but this really protects it.The other bonus is that it makes your hair wonderfully smooth and silky to the touch. Love,Love,Love it.

I have just spent 2 weeks in Greece with temperatures into the 100.I have dyed blond hair and without this spray I hate to think what my hair would have been like. I would spay it on several times during the day. On my return my hairdresser commented on how well my hair felt and the condition of it. This item is fantastic and a must if you want shining hair at the end of your holidays. Thank you Aveda for such an excellent spray.

I think this is the best sun protection hair product that I have ever tried. I like the texture and that it can be used on a dry hair. I am applying it several times during a day, as I currently live in sunny and very warm climate. It really does what it says. Minimises colour fading, my hair is colour fading prone. After sunny holidays it turns a total mess, absolutely horrible bleached colour, but not this time. Meanwhile my hair is soft as it was at the beginning of the summer. Must have hair product for all sunny holiday trips.
