New Take on a Classic Jacket

The trucker jacket has been around for over a hundred years and traditionally manufactured from durable denim, used as a working garment (mainly used by truckers hence the name) and known for its durability. In recent years we have seen a resurgence of the jacket which has appeared in numerous materials. I noticed the jacket on the m&s site and was immediately interested in its style and material so ordered myself the jacket in brown. When I received the jacket I was immediately impressed with the style and fit which made for a great smart casual look which could be worn with jeans, chinos or trousers to achieve whatever look was desired. The jacket is manufactured from a really good quality suede that looks high end market, is reasonably warm is great to wear and has attracted quite a few admiring comments. The jacket is fully lined and has a great number of pockets for the usual items people trend to carry so you don't have to cram too much into whatever else you are wearing with the jacket. I probably didn't need to purchase the item as I already have a few jackets, but I am glad I did and has become my go to other than on the coldest days or where we can expect rain.

Jackets can be a hit or a miss with me, fits in some places but not in others, I really loved the look of this jacket but was prepared for the disappointment of it fitting in some places and not in others and the dreaded return, however it’s absolutely amazing one of the best purchases I have ever made, great quality as you would expect from MS but just such a great silhouette, well cut and put together I absolutely love it, it’s going to be my most used Fall piece, well done MS
