Suede Slip-on Pumps with Freshfeet™

Another quality product from M&S just perfect for my upcoming holiday.

M&S shoes sizing is becoming less & less generous - both shorter & narrower than a few years ago. Of 3 shoes ordered from the casual/smart line, I could not get my foot into one - this one, not at all - barely into the second, and only so-so into the 3rd, that I kept, but not completely satisfied. The shoe gave no way near enough of an opening to get my foot in, even using a shoe-horn. It is styled with a very low foot volume in mind. Sadly, there is no large size available, even in a world where people are growing taller & wider - M&S is not keeping up with this stopping in most at the UK size 12 / EU 47. For better, more generous sizing I find better offers with Land's End.

I saw on another review that these shoes were coming up small so I ordered 1+ size up. This was a mistake. The shoes are true to size, slightly big if anything. I am usually a 9. I ordered a 10 and they were way too big. 9 (or even an 8) was perfect. Good quality and nice looking shoes

Ordered 2 pairs in navy (one standard fit one wide fit) for my partner, collected from store and when I opened them in both pairs the left shoe was very obviously lighter than the the right one, like the batches of material were not the same for left and right ! When I looked in store this was also the case for the navy colour such a shame because they would of been very nice and very good value for money if this was not the case . Also few scuff marks on both pairs not really up to usual marks and Spencer’s standards.
