Lovely stylish boots which look great with skinny jeans but equally good with opaque tights and a dress, The suede is soft and thick. II am glad that Marks have a started to put back a bit of quality in some of their products as I feel that their standards have slipped in recent years. I would rather pay a bit more and get something like these fabulous boots. I agree with other reviewers that these are good value for the price and would have been far more expensive in other high street shops and they were an absolute steal with 20% off.

Nice boot. - I particularly liked it in the dark navy (makes change from black). Unfortunately it was too narrow for me in a size 6 but too big (slipped at the ankle) in a size 6.5, so I had to return it.

Early indications pleasing

Although I have yet to wear these boots out for an extended stretch they do feel very comfy and look nice too. My only reservation is that I may scuff the suede covered heels when Im out and about in the rain negotiating pavements and steps. Will probably not wear them in more challenging weather conditions. Also hope they retain their true deep black colour. Otherwise looking forward to wearing again and again with both leggings and skirts.

These boots are beautiful quality with soft, thick suede that has a deep dark colour. So comfortable, classic and great to wear. True to size and came packed well also. Came in their box which was nice so that I can keep them in it. Would highly recommend. The boots are now a new favourite.

The previous reviewer is so right re theses being such a good match to Russell and Bromley of whom I've been a very long standing customer-albeit not one who likes their very high prices!! Loved the twenty percent off too, Love the comfort quality and great style and the heel height is fab. Need a bag to go with these now! Got to say that there's no doubt that great style and quality is now coming through into m and s at autograph level and I love it-keep going,

I cant wear very high heels so these were perfect at 2". They are comfortable and true to size. (I am a 5). I wear mine with black opaque tights and tunic dress.

Bought these in black and found the fit perfect. Not all Footgloves are the same! but these are super-comfortable and easy to walk on. They look fab with straight-leg jeans. Have now ordered a pair in dark blue. More like this please, they are worth the slightly higher price.

Lovely quality boots

I bought these in navy and am delighted with them. Easily on a par with those in Russell & Bromley where I normally buy my boots. I have bought 3 pairs this year from M&S and I am very pleased with all of them. In my opinion the boots are much better than previous years. Always worth paying a bit more at M&S to get the better styles and quality suede.

Why are M&S shoes sizes different to elsewhere?
No, I don't recommend this
A size 6 is a continental size 39 everywhere else but M&S. Why? In M&S it's a 39 1/2! I ordered a size 5 which said 38 and a 6 which said 39 1/2. I am a traditional size 6 which is a 39 and yet M&S does not make this size. The 39 1/2 is too big and can't get my foot in the 5! Please manufacture to usual sizes M&S.

I had been looking for a pair of navy ankle boots for a while and these are perfect. True to size ( I wear cotton socks with them), nice dark shade of navy and medium heel height. Really comfortable whenever I put them on and stayed comfortable all day. Look great with smart navy trousers for work.
