Suede Buckle Ankle Boots

I haven't had them for long but I really love them, I've worn them endlessly and they are fab.

Great boots! Lovely dark brown colour, zips both sides, small heel and really comfortable. True to size, the wide fit is great for me. They go well with trousers or skirts/ dresses. I'm sure they'll last for years and I had 20% off so even better!

Viewed on-line these seemed to be just what I was looking for. I have a very similar pair from Footglove days (repaired a couple of times but still doing sterling service). I am a size 4.5 so ordered both a 4 and a 5W. The Footglove boots are size 5 but fine if worn with thick socks. The first pair of 4s were so small I couldn't get my foot in them at all. The 5s were huge - almost 2 inches longer in the sole that my old Footglove 5s, and flapped around my ankles too, even with a pair of insoles and thick socks. I returned both pairs and tried to order 4Wide fit. The boots delivered to me were one of each! A 4W and a%W. I returned those. Finally I managed to acquire a pair of 4W. Sadly, after wearing them indoors for an hour or so it was clear that they were w bit too snug to wear outdoors so they too had to go back. I am still baffled as to why the 5Ws were so long.

I was going to keep these boots but I felt they were heavy to walk in. I don’t know if that is due to wearing lightweight trainers more and more or my age! Was disappointed to have to return.

These boots felt comfortable in the store, and they had soft insoles but unfortunately after an hr of wear outside they hurt the balls of my feet. Won’t be able to wear for long walks
