Something not quite right
No, I don't recommend this
Jacket made of lovely soft suede and is a good length, however there was something about the cut that is not quite right. I purchased sizes 12 and 10 - I am usually a size 14 but take a smaller size in Jaeger as they usually are generous sizes. Both fitted but I think the problem was the curve on the bottom edge of the front panels. Had the jacket been straight at the bottom I think it would have been better - but that is just my preference. Also when worn the jacket was noticeably shorter at the front than the back, which again didn't look right. Maybe the curve made it more noticeable. Possibly, too because the suede is so soft, the jacket doesn't have much structure and doesn't give the impression of a £300 garment. Had it been in a rich dark brown or other darker colour it might have given a different impression. Also why do M&S persist in putting functioning buttonholes on their coat/jackets? Do many folk actually use them? All it does is make it practically impossible for long sleeves to be taken up. Fake holes can easily be removed and the sleeve altered without hassle and buttons put back on. Have returned both.
