I personally liked the structure of this dress and I found the overall shape and style of it very flattering. I chose a size up from my standard size 12 to a 14 tall. As I found that it wouldn’t zip up around my bust area. I ordered the tall as I’m five foot eight and I wanted a little more length on the hem line.

Awful material and strange shape! Material is such thick polyester it feels almost like neoprene! I wish M&S would stop making products like this one that are just cheap and bad quality and focus on more eco materials and better design (like including pockets!).

I ended up having to size up as my usual size 10 wouldn't even do up! Even the size 12 was tight around my bust. But, it looked absolutely amazing once on. Just for anyone with over a 34DD, I'd suggest sizing up.

I bought this dress in the plain black and the black/white polka dot, the fit is the same on both and it's a great dress made of a scuba like material that retains it's shape so the skirt is slightly extended out as if wearing a petticoat. I'm 5ft with a short torso and the torso is perfect on my high waist and the length is good on me, it would be a mini on someone taller.
