I'm a very curvy size 10. 34DD and size 12 in Jeans and I'm 5'7 tall. The size 10 dress fitted me perfectly. I wore the M&S body slip under it. The arms fitted perfectly. The sparkles were amazing and didn't fall off. Yes the length is very short but I wore thick black tights and long boots so didn't matter so much. I didn't find the dress too hot as the slip that comes with it is a must as the sparkly material is so sheer and see through. I felt a million dollars in it.

The dress fitted really well and despite the high neckline and long sleeves looked really good. Great if the weather is cold ! I am in my 60's and felt it a bit short for me so I did return it but would have definitely kept it had it been just a little longer.

For the over 40s woman this dress is perfect. It's long sleeved and round necked so you can get away with showing a bit of leg. Wear mine with high heeled black boots. My usual size fitted perfectly. It looks great on and makes me feel a million dollars.

Thought this dress would be perfect for the Xmas party, but it was too short & the sleeves were far too long even covered my fingers Iooked ridiculous ,my Husband couldnt stop laughing ,not sure what's going on with sizes M&S but I class myself as average sized woman & this cerainly isn't for a me or I suspect a lot of other women. Could have been a nice dress if the proportions were correct.

Sorry to say that this dress was way too big after other reviews said it was on the small side. It was too heavy for a bodycon and even if it had fit was wrong material for a clingy look.

Issues with sleeves

Nice dress, however the sleeves of the size 10 dress I purchased were far too long and were also very baggy and loose. I therefore returned the item. I tried on other size 10 dresses in this style at a local store - and the sleeve problems were exactly the same.

This is a great little dress and I mean little. I am normally a size 12 tried 12,14,and 16 all too tight. Such a shame as a beautiful dress for the Christmas season. Unfortunately I have to send them all back.

I really like this dress! it is quite heavy to doubt due to number of small shiny black sequins sown to the fabric but the effect is quite stunning when the light catches them! The dress would not take too much rough handling as a few sequins will become detached - even by just trying the dress on. But as there are literally thousands of them they are sadly likely to be missed!
