My son was happy with the glow in the dark bedding. Only negative was that it was button fastening when the description said zip fastening. Didnt notice until after I washed it

Material feels as plastic as a shower curtain

Material is not cotton, feels as plastic as a shower curtain. Not sure why bed sheets are often called cotton these days but are at best just polyester, and these sheets were particularly plasticy feeling. M&S please check your suppliers materials.

Children’s Glow in the dark bedding set

The duvet cover is a great design and washes well. It is nice and soft and doesn’t feel itchy like most children’s bedding sets tend to! Would give 5 ✨ if the item delivered had a zip fastening at the bottom of the sheet as specified on the website. Instead it came with buttons which is fine, but originally bought specifically for the zip fastening as it was for a child’s residential trip and thought this would make life a little easier for him when making his bed.

Solar system duvet set
My grandchildren loved this space themed duvet set. I've yet to see it glow in the dark. The only down side is the feel of the material it feels quite stiff.

I bring back duvets and towels from M&S each time I am in the UK . I bought this for my 5yo son in the summer and the colours are nice and dark so it looks a little more mature and will not be one he is embarrassed to have his friends see in 5-8 years down the road. Took a few months to get the hang of the glow. Incandescent lights and daylight don’t really do the trick. LEDs are your friend for this. A great glow can be achieved by running an LED flashlight quickly over the glowing part of the pattern. Even a swipe with your phone flashlight will do the trick. My favourite part is that it goes from washer to dryer to bed without the need for an iron. Very happy with this still after 7 months of use.

Its advertised as glow in the dark. Ive tried everything even hanging on the washing line in full sun. Had all lights out, black out curtains. It doesnt glow. Very disapointed. Grandchildren disappointed.

It’s a real shame - this set is a beautiful design but they clearly had to use a horrid fabric to make the colours so vivid. It feels almost plasticky and my son gets too hot in it. It does glow in the dark a bit but it’s not great. Wouldn’t recommend
