Smooth Infusion™ Anti-Frizz Shampoo 200ml

I have used Smooth Infusion shampoo for more than a decade and loved it, until the formula was changed. The old formula felt richer and cleansed my hair well, whilst "doing what it said on the can." The new version just doesn't work well on my hair. Such a disappointment.

I used to love Smooth Infusion shampoo and bought it for years. I tried this new bottle at the hairdresser and it left my hair tacky and greasy, hairdresser and I were both appalled and it was so obvious my hair couldn't be left like that that I was sent back to have it washed with something else.

This was my go to shampoo for years, and I absolutely loved it. My hair was left feeling soft and manageable and absolutely perfect. Unfortunately this new formula leaves my hair flat, lifeless and feeling horrible. Simply won't buy it again, and I'm left wondering why and earth Aveda changed what was such a wonderful product. So disappointed.

I did think twice about buying this product based on the reviews - but thought hey I'll give it a go. I'm glad I did, as this leaves my hair super soft yet still holds the curls. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and it's got a natural curl. A lot of products make my hair frizzy but this didn't. Compared to other Aveda shampoo (Botanical, Colour Care, Cherry etc). You do have to use quite a lot more product to get a lather - so it's not as cost effective.

I never write reviews but this one deserves it. I really like the other products from this line and decided to try the shampoo. I used it twice and it was a disaster. This shampoo leaves a heavy residue in the hair that makes it feel dirtier than before the wash. A really bad product. I contacted costumer service (which took a while!) asking them to send me a replacement shampoo, because I had already wasted enough time on this, but they said that was not possible - so had to waste more time requesting a refund. Very disappointed overall as I would have expected a different type of quality and service from this brand!

I use damage remedy products and love them but decided to try this for my frizzy hair for a little change. It left my hair poker straight and very dry.

I would give zero if I could. Loved the old formula, this was awful. Left my hair thick with grease, stuck to my head, just terrible. Tried a few time and then actually put in bin! Bring back the old formula please?

I agree with the other reviews this shampoo makes me have to wash my hair more frequently due to becoming greasy within a day of use & no lather which I like ...the style spray also has the same issue my hair feels full of product and heavy residue the original smooth did not act this way.

I've used the Smooth Infusion range for a couple of years and loved it. When I purchased a new bottle recently I queried the new packaging and the store assistant said it would still deliver the same results. Wrong!!! I'm so disappointed. My hair feels tacky after drying and goes greasy within a couple of days. This never happened with the old formula. I've tried 3 times now in case I'd not rinsed properly but I always get the same result. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Loved the old formula but this one is terrible- no matter how much you use or how much you rinse leaves hair feeling tacky and dirty. Horrible .

Like other reviewers I have been using smooth infusion for years and it left my hair looking great - soft, smooth and a lovely scent too. The new formula is awful. It feels nasty, leaves my hair feeling nasty and doesn't smell nice either. I certainly won't be buying again - a cheap supermarket shampoo maybe isn't better than this, but it's just as good at much lower cost. I've given 1 star purely because it isn't possible to give none at all.

I have been using smooth infusion for years and absolutely loved it. Have just purchased the new one after being told it was simply a change in packaging. I don't know what has been done to the formula but it is terrible, the worst shampoo I have ever used. It leaves my hair feeling very tacky with no movement in it at all, and frizzy to boot. Stay well clear of this new formula, such a waste of money!

I'm afraid , I have to agree with the other negative reviews. At one time, Smooth infusion was great, What happened? New ingredient? I purchased a 3 travel set piece. Shampoo, conditioner and spray. I used them with great hope as I have never used all 3 items, expected fabulous results. My hair after was awful. Sticky and more like straw. Could hardly get a comb through it. Gosh it's awful! Not used it again. Said, San fairy anne to 22 pounds.

I used this alongside the Smooth Infusion conditioner. I have thick, dry, porous 2B waves that have been colour damaged, so struggle with frizz all the time. This shampoo smelt gorgeous and made my waves feel more defined with less 'fluff' and flyaways.
