I’m so upset! I loved the original Butter Drench cream. My skin is extremely sensitive but the Butter Drench just at glided on and was so calming. I was reluctant when I saw it was now under the Skinlongevity line. Within minutes of putting it on my skin became blotchy, warm and it never seemed to absorb Please bring back the original formula!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moisturizer is definitely 'butter cream'. My skin is combo normal to dry but this product is too buttery for me. At 74 yo, this caused my face to breakout the first time I used it. I stopped using it for a week to let the pimples dry up and then tried it again. Same result of pimples. I really like it for hand cream though, so I'll use it up on dry hands.

I had a lot of sun damage, and someone introduced me to the butter drench moisturizer (old formula). I have used it religiously and it has healed the sun damage. I just bought this new formula, and it seems to work the same. I am just writing to thank Bare Minerals for fixing my sunburned skin. I love their makeup too, and used to use it in high school. I hesitated to try the Butter Drench moisturizer, as the name caused me to believe it would be heavy and greasy - something my skin wouldn't tolerate well. I was considering changing to another line of skin care, but decided to give it a try before doing so. I'm pleased to report that while the Butter Drench moisturizer is heavier, it has not caused irritation or other problems.
