I've used many different products with no results. After using BareMinerals Butter Drench, my forehead feels so soft and no more red patches. My skin is very soft and it has reduced my wrinkles, making me look younger. It feels luxuriously cool, refreshing, and has a soft citrusy scent. It applies so smoothly, requiring only a small amount. One jar lasts about 2-3 months. I have it on autoship. I’ve used this for the past 6 years. I’m definitely doing something good to myself! When you look good, you feel good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing like the original Butter Drench. You can smell the petroleum in it. It sits on the surface of the skin without moisturizing or hydrating. It feels silky but that is all. Hope they bring back the true Butter Drench.

A long time user since the pure plush came out and the smoothness moisturizer and I have to say I absolutely love it but I like the type of moisturizers that are more on the not so thick side like it feels thick to me and the smoothness one I felt was more dewy and soft and just goes well on my skin but if you like a thick consistency this may be for you but ultimately still a great moisturizer that works well on my skin !!

I’ve bought the old version in the past, after my previous moisturizer (smoothness) was discontinued. The old Butter Drench was amazing! It was a luxurious and light feeling moisturizer that didn’t give me any skin problems. This new formula is not worth the money I spent on it. The smell is ok, but the consistency is too thick and sticky. Like other reviews have said, it takes ages for the stickiness to go away, if at all. I am going to return the item to Ulta, and find a moisturizer that isn’t completely awful. Sad to say that this is officially the last product I will ever buy from this brand, since they discontinued all the other skin care products I used to use.
