I am very sad and upset that Bare Minerals decided to change their Butter Drench moisturizer. I was using the original one for years and loved how my skin looked and felt. I have a terrible allergy to MSG, not only in food but also skin and hair products. It is difficult to find products I can use without it. Yeast extract is another name for it and for some reason it has been added to what was an amazing moisturizer. The new one made me very sick which is how I found out about the reformulation. Unfortunately I’m done using this product and please urge the company to bring back the original, that is in keeping with your name of Bare Minerals.

Sits on top of the skin, doesnt feel like it moisturizes as good. Doesn't irritate my skin like I've read for some and I have sensitive skin. Leaves skin almost a greasy shiny. Begging for the original back.

I don’t spend much money on products and tend to go for the most cheap and basic things I can find, and generally my preference is to not put anything on my skin if I don’t need to. But, as I’ve entered my 40s, my once low maintenance skin has gotten less tolerant of neglect and has become very dry and sensitive and just generally feels...bad. I’m not sure what motivated me to try this Butter Drench stuff but WOW I have to say that I’m so glad I did. My skin felt immediately cool and happy the first time I used it, and today on day 4 I find that I look forward to applying it. I live in Vermont and heat my home with a woodstove, which makes my skin feel like a lizard, and putting this cream on my face and neck feels incredible. It’s not oily feeling but feels deeply moistening and soothing and I love that it has a very mild scent (I hate strong or artificial smelling products). I absolutely love this stuff.

I gave this new cream an entire container until deciding. While it's okay, I miss the original Butter Drench a lot. It just fit my dry skin perfectly, was creamier and used it for years. Bare Minerals has done this before with products. Ugh. Looking for a new cream now stinks.
