Why discontinue a great product?

I've been using the original Skinlongevity Long Life Herb Serum for years, and of all my skincare products, it has made my far the most visible difference in my skin. Within days of using it, my skin has been tighter, brighter and more youthful. I loved it so much I signed up for the subscription. Imagine my surprise when I reached the end of my last bottle and there was no replacement sent to me. I logged in to the site to check my orders and my subscription has been deleted and the product seems to be discontinued, replaced by this new serum with mixed reviews. I received no notification that my subscription was canceled nor that my favorite product is gone. I wish I could have stocked up. My 2 star review is for the lack of communication and for discontinuing a great product that had tons of fans. Why get rid of a great thing? I'll try this new product and update my review if it's as effective as the old one.

Glitter, smell, texture

It has glitter in the formula, why? I would never buy this again. The original formula was made in the USA. This one is not.I am very disappointed and do NOT recommend this.

I not only am more sensitive to whatever is in this new formula, but I dont like how it feels either. Its a no from me. Will never buy again. Companies should add a new product to their line or completely discontinue the original instead of changing it and acting like its the same stuff just slightly better. When its nothing in comparison and not better.

I used the previous formula for years. This new formula drys out my skin and made the corners of my lips start cracking after using about half the bottle. I’m so disappointed. I will be throwing out the rest of my bottle.

This stuff is thicker - which living in Georgia in the summer, I prefer the lighter serum of Long Life Herb Serum.I also don't care for the scent of this new version either. The Long Life Herb Serum had a pleasant scent - not really liking the new scent. Giving it 3 stars because I'm willing to give it a try - but the scent may just turn me off.......
