I hadn't tried a blam cleanser before as I have always worried it would play havoc with my oily Tzone but I decided to give the a try. Not only does it make taking off my makeup a breeze but it has helped clear up my monthly acne on my Tzone! If you're hesitant because you have oily skin then please give this a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using Weleda - Skin Food Face Cleansing Balm and I absolutely love it, it's very quickly become one of my favourite products. I have been using it as a weekly nourishing face mask that I leave on for 10 minutes it has a claming lavender scent to it so I lay and relax whilst having it on and then rinse off and my skin feels amazing after each use, I look forward to it each week. I also use it on my t zone area which often can appear to have dry skin and have noticed that it has been less dry over time. My skin is left feeling refreshed and moisturised as well as smelling amazing.

The product itself is very thick and has citrus notes rather than a soapy fresh scent . It is easy to apply . Firstly I used this as a mask of which is my preferred application of this product . The results are instant. I was truly shocked at how smooth ,hydrated and plumped my skin was. My skin looked and felt similar to that of a newborn , it is that effective. Also any bags or fine lines disappeared too. I would say the optimum effects of the products lasted half a day . Very happy to us this as a daily facewash but definately using it as a mask has fantastic results .

I simply scoop a small amount of the balm into my hand, massage it into my skin, and then rinse it off with water. Sometimes I struggle with larger pores which trap dirt easily, but this helped to keep my skin clean, actively helping my pores to reduce back down to a more normal size.

It’s quite a thick consistency, and is quite difficult to apply to your face, I had to use more than the recommended amount. I found of it wetted my hands a little, it was easier to apply to my face. Also when used as a face mask, I had to remove before the recommended time as my face started to feel a little uncomfortable. It smells good, which is nice, it made me feel more comfortable putting it on my face. It did wash off easily too.

It is quite oily but it doesn't really leave any noticeable shine to your skin. A little goes a long way with this product too so a tube will last quite a while. It Has a nice scent to it too. I would definitely recommend this product.
