Skagen Melbye Grey Chainmail Bracelet Quartz Watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Skagen Denmark SKW6007 in the post today. Was so excited to open it! I wasn't disappointed either. My first thoughts were that it's not the normal style my boyfriend would wear, but it's a really nice dressy type of watch that you could wear everyday. It's slim and sleek, but hardy at the same time, looks like it will take a bit of battering (not that we will be battering it!!). The things that stood out to me were the feel of the strap, it's cool and sturdy and felt nice to the touch. The other is the watch face itself. How thin is it!! I've never seen a watch face so thin, I love it. What I don't like about it is: 1. the dial to change the date - it takes forever and is really annoying...but I guess once you've done it you probably won't have to do it again...for a while anyway. And that is it! Overall it's a lovely looking watch, it feels nice on (yes I tried it on, even though it's a mans watch and far too big for me!, it's got a lovely basic but classy watch face...it does what it says on the tin.

The watch feels very well made and sits comfortably on the wrist. It’s good a bit of ‘heft’ to it though not too heavy. I like the adjustable strap though the actual clasp is a bit fiddly. Hopefully this will become easier to use over time. Overall I would rate this 8/10.

With a slim and sleek design, it feels practically weightless on my wrist with a distinct orange centrepiece to stand out from the rest of the watch. The only improvement I would say is to make the time dial textured to make it easier to set and adjust the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fantastic watch this is. Sleek, modern and is ready for whatever occasion you need it for! The strap is a excellent and so easy to adjust. No going to get it adjusted elsewhere! It can take some getting used to getting the clasp to close but is a breeze after a while. Loving the silver, black and orange colour way. Had lots of compliments on it and it’s a really classy timepiece. It’s also very comfortable. Slim design and lightweight compared to lots of others on the market. Very happy with what Skagen have produced here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been considering the Skagen for a while, with a look to update from an older watch with a leather strap, and this fits the bracket perfectly. Great to fit in with a classic look of black, white and greys, and it's easily adjustable on the wrist plus, one of the most important things, it's super stylish, modern and looks as classy as you'd hope. It's also very well made, with that grey metal having a nice brushed effected, and that orange on the watch face both piercing through, and setting off the style effortlessly!

The watch is light therefore is very comfortable to wear. Wristband is easily adjustable which is great. Clear watch face allows to see the time clearly even in darker room. The watch presents beautifully on a hand. It’s titanium wristband is very light weight and breathable. I highly recommend this watch and Skagen brand

Normally I only wear a watch for occasions, so am aware of the weight of a watch, however, the form and low weight of the watch mean I have, on many occasions, forgotten I am wearing it. The quality of the watch is exceptional and great for everyday wear; it's smart and elegant enough to wear as an evening watch with clear and easy to read dials. The strap is infinitely adjustable, so although a little difficult to set, once you have the perfect position it stays that way. The day and date are a little difficult to set with the small and smooth crown wheel, the only downside is that this will have to be done at the end of almost every month, but it's a price worth paying for such a beautifully slim and elegant watch. The Orange feature band on this version sets off the dial and the markers beautifully. Thoroughly recommend and happy to b seen wearing it.

Lovely looking metallic strap with contracting watch face with orange trim give this watch a touch of class and retro chic! This is now my favourite day to day watch to wear just complements whatever choice of clothing I wear be it smart or casual. I couldn't recommend this watch more highly for the watch collector and avid wearer like me, 5*****. I feel that this watch is definitely great value for money when you consider the style of this timepiece is so timeless. Perfect size for an average person and completely adjustable strap with no need to change links or make any tricky adjustments. I have loved wearing this watch as my go to day watch, matches all outfits whatever the occasion. This watch has been put together really well and as with all Skagen watches the craftsmanship is second to none, I have no hesitation in recommending this watch to all watch lovers out there! go get one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Skagen watch I have had the fortune to own having previously received one as a gift around 8 or 9 years ago - yet again, I am left feeling extremely impressed. The product came in a beautifully presented, yet simple box design (white with elegant text) and well supported internally to avoid any avoidable damage during the delivery process. As with my previous Skagen, when opening the box it oozes quality (at an affordable price) is easy to set the time with simple instructions (also available online) and, unlike other watches) the clasp is set up to be immediately usable without need to visit a watch store to reduce/increase the wrist strap. I have been impressed with the accuracy of the time piece and have already had comments from friends and family on how nice a timepiece it is. No complaints thus far and I look forward to getting the most out of this product in the short, mid and long-term. Keep up the great work Skagen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed with this Skagen watch so far. It has a titanium casing giving it durability, and a charcoal coloured coated mesh strap. On the watch face itself there is an orange circle design on a darker charcoal face which draws your attention to the centre. The hour and minute hands also have a luminous coating making it easier to read in poor lighting. The date and day are also displayed at the number three position on the watch face. These can be changed by using the small dial on the right hand side of the watch. This dial also changes the watch hands. The watch is also water resistant making it ideal for wearing when out playing sports. It is a stylish looking watch also so can be worn for any occasion.

Elegance and minimalism in one, and yet so unique that it attracts attention. In addition, it looks great on the wrist, it fits both casual and business style. We say "HAPPY TIME DOESN'T COUNT", but if it does, this watch is perfect for measuring joyful moments. The only drawback is that you want to look at it too often. As My husband wearing this lovely beautiful watch on his wrist he can't feel the metal band because is so gentle and comfortable on his hand. The metal band is also matching all of his clothes and even the cuflinks and tie clip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very comfortable watch to wear. Light and elegant. The watch came packed well and looked ready to play. I love the strap. So easy to adjust and can make the strap exactly to a size that suits. Even the most expensive leather straps force you to choose one or other hole when you may want a size inbeween. The dial is Legible and Modern. The ornage and grey are very well suited together. I wasn't sure when i ordered it if i would like the orange accents but its lovely. After having it for more than a month, its still one of my favourite watches. I like the brand and would look to own another one in the future.

I heard about this brand before, good, solidly made at an affordable price. at the moment I can not say anything more, how long does the battery hold, is the glass scratching? We test, we will see if it was money well spent.

When it arrived I was very excited to see which watch I’d actually been sent and I wasn’t disappointed. The box was very Unassuming which at first I thought was a let down because of its price tag. But I quickly realised that the money you spent on the brand goes into the watches and not the packaging which is easily recycled or kept to keep it safe. The watch itself is superb. It feels sleek, super light you just forget you even have it on. I’ve actually brought it as a gift for my partners birthday, I don’t think he will be disappointed. I know it will go with anything in his wardrobe weather when he dresses up or down. I showed my son who is the watch collected in the family and I could see from his face he wanted to add it to his collection, he mentioned how he liked the easily adjustable strap. This will be ideal for my partner as he has super skinny wrists so no fading with going back and forth to get it adjusted. My son also commented on the sleek design with the striking orange details. I think he this will become his every day watch and his old tired one will be left in the draw ! I can’t wait to see him wearing it.
