Skagen Melbye Grey Chainmail Bracelet Quartz Watch

I have owned one of these for years. I bought it on an airplane and have worn it daily ever since. The metal strap is not hot in the summer like leather, it keeps good time and looks great. Highly recommended.n

The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a stinking timepiece. I bought it over ten years ago and to this day still receive compliments on it.

It's a watch, so hopefully you can imagine what I use it for. I'm fairly old (as are most users of traditional watches, I suspect) so the thin hands and the small day/date cause me grief. Comfortable.

The box is substantial and understated and protects the watch beautifully and on opening it you can see how classic the watch is, the gunmetal grey strap and face it set off with a pop of orange. The full instruction booklet is easy to follow and so set the watch. I'm looking forwards to seeing on husband's wrist for quite a time to come.

It’s surprisingly light weight considering it’s made out of a very durable titanium! The colour goes with most outfits that I wear and the amount of positive comment’s I have received while wearing it had been surprising. Would 110% recommend this watch to any one! It would make a great gift with a low price tag. Very happy with this watch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a fan of sleek watches, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find an uncomplicated watchface and milanese inspired wristband. The analogue face is easy to read, and also shows an automatic date counter that doesn't distract from the whole watch. The adjustment and clasp were a bit fiddly to get the first time, but once I had the hang of it, held fast. All in all, a great timepiece for any modern watch-wearer!

It looks extra cool with the orange in the centre. It definitely looks good, but wouldn't look good on me unfortunately. This watch is definitely up there with a smart looking timepiece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Skagen Denmark SKW6007 in the post today. Was so excited to open it! I wasn't disappointed either. My first thoughts were that it's not the normal style my boyfriend would wear, but it's a really nice dressy type of watch that you could wear everyday. It's slim and sleek, but hardy at the same time, looks like it will take a bit of battering (not that we will be battering it!!). The things that stood out to me were the feel of the strap, it's cool and sturdy and felt nice to the touch. The other is the watch face itself. How thin is it!! I've never seen a watch face so thin, I love it. What I don't like about it is: 1. the dial to change the date - it takes forever and is really annoying...but I guess once you've done it you probably won't have to do it again...for a while anyway. And that is it! Overall it's a lovely looking watch, it feels nice on (yes I tried it on, even though it's a mans watch and far too big for me!, it's got a lovely basic but classy watch face...it does what it says on the tin.

The watch feels very well made and sits comfortably on the wrist. It’s good a bit of ‘heft’ to it though not too heavy. I like the adjustable strap though the actual clasp is a bit fiddly. Hopefully this will become easier to use over time. Overall I would rate this 8/10.
