I have been buying the forerunner of these for years, maybe over a decade and presumed these were the same ones but with a different name. They are nowhere near as strong, very flimsy, and only have one panel down the front instead of a double one, so might as well be light control. Also they gape at the groin! The waist band is flimsy so rolls down. Absolutely dreadful replacement for the old trusty ones. I will now have to spend a fortune on the Spanx brand to get the same effect as the old M&S ones.

I am typically a size 10-12 but have a c section belly so I wanted to try these to slim out the c section belly, which they did but they rolled down a little at the top so they actually gave me a high up muffin top. They also had VPL. I bought these to wear under a floor length evening dress which is fitted but silky. These pants made me look more lumpy and bumpy so I will have to return. They are also quite tight around the tops of my thighs, I couldn’t get them to sit right.

Purchased a dress that showed my tubby tummy, the pants held in my tummy, the dress looked a alot better. The knickers were comfortable. I purchased the size up from my actual size as i noticed a review that said to order bigger and I'm glad I did! In my opinion a bit expensive for what they are!
