Dollar77 Great shampoo This a great shampoo smells good I like the fact that’s naturally derived and doesn’t contain sodium laureth sulphate been using for years makes hair feel clean and it shines I have really fine hair
M and S jumper fan Always an excellent brand I always use Aveda, but usually the Colour Conserve. However it’s nice to have a change and the Shampure smells lovely and seems to suit my hair type which coloured.
Isky Works great for fine hair Used for years so lived through formula change but still works a treat. I can't use the conditioner but the shampoo is great for me. Tried loads of others but always come back to this. Gives my hair some body, leaves it feeling clean and always healthy. I have chin length fine blonde 51 year old hair. I use Aveda thickening hair lotion too which is great. Sometimes combine with the volumising one but if you need to choose and you have fine hair go for the thickening one.
Rosa 1 Smells lovely Don’t need too much, smells great and easy to wash out.
Fiona Will always repurchase After being recommended this shampoo by a friends I decided to purchase the Shampure Shampoo & Conditioner. On first use I discovers you need two double shampoo hair for the best results, but as someone with very thick hair I would have to do this anyway. I can't believe how shiny and nourished my hair looks after using this, not at all greasy or dry as some of the below reviews have complained about.
SLY 44 Lovely Shampoo Having never used the old formula, I am very happy with this shampoo. My hair is very fine and chemically treated. This makes it nice and light and clean feeling. I really like it.
Laura Extremely disappointed Smells wonderful. However, Has left my hair dry and greasy and feeling like I haven't washed it out properly. I gave it another go thinking that perhaps I didn't wash it out. Same. Disappointed as this was received as a Christmas present. Not sure if the issue is with the shampoo or conditioner but not really the point given the cost. Rip off...
Aveda fan Gentle and nourishing I've used this shampoo for years and love how gentle it is but as I get older and my hair and scalp are getting drier I now need something more moisturising.
Janet F Healthy Hair Love Aveda products as they are all natural ingredients and no nasties in them.
Sandie52 Aveda Shampure shampoo Love this shampoo and conditioner good for everyday use smells delicious too
Phoebeagain Good choice! Lovely shampoo, worth the cost, leaves hair soft but manageable.
Dorset dumplin Love this shampoo really leaves my hair soft and silky and I'm no spring chicken. My local hairdresser uses Aveda products and I was impressed been using it now for about 3 years .
MT Shampure Change the formula back it's terrible now, will not buy again.
TALYHO Barely Lathers This product smells nice, but otherwise it's hard to find anything redeeming. It isn't cheap and it barely lathers. This means I have to use 5 times as much of an already expensive product. I end up with greasy patches in my hair because the shampoo hasn't spread across my whole scalp. To make matters worse I find my hair gets greasy within 24hrs of washing with the product - almost three times as quickly as my cheap Boots shampoo. I have always respected the Aveda brand, and the conditioners are great but they really need to reconsider this product
Helen Not the old shampure! I was sceptical about the negative reviews, and that was my mistake. The new formula is horrible: the hair gets dirty by the end of the first day, plus this shampoo causes itchy scalp and dandruff. Nothing like the old shampure.
F Craig Aveda shampoo Find it great on my coloured hair leaving it smooth and smells great.
gbe01 Light clean shampoo Wonderful scent and a light shampoo that lathers and cleans very well
Happy_31 Great Shampoo This is the third time I have ordered this shampoo - I find it works really well
KALAS MUM BRING BACK THE OLS SHAMPURE WE KNOW AND LOVE WHAT ON EARTH HAS HAPPENED TO SHAMPURE? IT NO LONGER LEAVES MY HAIR SILKY AND MANAGEABLE, JUST COARSE AND DULL. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN UNLESS THE FORMULA RETURNS TO THE ONE WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE. IT WASN'T BROKEN, WHY FIX IT??????
C88 Disappointing repurchase Echoing the other recent reviews, I would like to say how disappointed I am with this new formula. This used to be the absolute perfect shampoo for my hair, well-balanced and gorgeous scent. It is now leaving my hair dry and lacklustre. I've always had soft hair that doesn't need much conditioning but now have to condition much more and even then, hair still feels dry. I won't be buying again unfortunately.
