We have been using Maxim china from M&S for very many years. Over time, through daily use, our dinner plates started to look less than pristine. We were therefore delighted to find that M&S still produce Maxim china and we were able to replace our dinner plates with the same product.They are the perfect diameter to fit in our cupboard and they match the existing crockery.

Most of these have a lump in the centre of the plate but one has a small dink in the rim. They appear frankly, to be seconds. I do not have the bandwidth to package them up and return them, so am keeping. They are useable for everday wear. I would not use them for anything grand however.

A little disappointed
A bit disappointed. Have had maxim for years and needed to replace a few. Although they’re the same shape, they’re much thicker and heavier and there are lots of flaws in the glaze etc, not the same quality as before
