Sequin Long Sleeve Shift Dress

Bought for nye but didn’t end up wearing it because felt too tight across shoulders & bust - however think that was more my issue than the dress sizing! Now trying to loose a bit of weight so it fits for a party in Feb

At first sight, this dress looks fabulous. The sequins move in all directions and are silver on top and mutli-coloured underneath. However, when you get into the detail: - The bow at the back is wide and made of thick velvet, so it is very bulky and will not lie flat on your back. If you wanted to do so, you could not pop a jacket over the top without it creating a huge lump; - The hem is very deep and chunky and not well sewn; - The sleeves are too long and are too tight to push up. I think 3/4 length would have been more stylish, This dress could have been so much better, without the necessity to increase the cost, but the design was not well thought out. I therefore returned it.

Ordered this dress on line in a 10, it was extremely small on the top half, I could not really get it on. I re ordered in the 12 and it was huge in the arms and body but fitted across the chest .

Somewhat disappointed ..... I felt the finish of the dress was poor - a very "clumpy" hemline. Considering it wasn't, it looked cheap.

This is a beautiful dress. The fabric is not too heavy and not too thin, just right. The silver sequins are interspersed with multi-coloured sequins which enhances the overall appearance. The velvet bow on the back can be tied into a bow or with a simple twist, left to hang down the back. It looks expensive and stylish. Unfortunately I feel I need to return it as I was a little too ambitious and excited about buying this dress when I saw it online and I actually don't do it justice as I am 5'4" and a bit too plump. (I don't usually subscribe to ageism) but I did feel it would suit a younger person or indeed a more mature lady with a slightly slimmer figure. I'm sad to say :(
