Senior Girls' Tapered Leg Trousers with Stormwear+™ (Older Girls)

We have trouble finding school trousers on the high street - too trendy, too low-rise etc (and won't touch elasticated!) - but these looked great. Noted the comments about leg length so ordered a 15 and 16 for my tall 13yr old who is around 5ft 5-6". The age 16 trousers were TOO SHORT and were 'snug' on the hips too. Don't understand why they're not offered in a couple of leg lengths, especially as they have turn ups and cannot be hemmed, as per boys trousers. Please can M&S provide more suitably sized, stylish school trousers for older girls. Several of her friends are the same height and most of the girls are taller than the boys at 13!

Very smart nice tapered leg and also got the adjustable waist.

These trousers are slightly bigger at the top of the leg than bottom. They have small turn up too. My daughters school very fussy but they have said these are fine. They are smart and the adjustable waist helps. I think slight expensive for what they are though,

Bought these for my tall 12 year old. Very very short, had to return them and order a size bigger. Wish these trousers were offered in 'long'

My daughter loves these trousers. The tapered cut looks very flattering and they are more trendy than your average school trousers. The quality and the feel of the material is very good and although more expensive than you'd find at any supermarket, they are well worth spending the extra for. Will definitely buy another pair.

The trousers I bought for my daughter are excellent it's just a shame that they are now sold out because I wanted to buy two more pairs

I bought these for my small 11 year old and they are fantastic! To be able to buy her a pair of trousers in a short fitting that she loves is just great because it's usually such a struggle!

Having waited almost 3 months for this trouser, as they were always out of stock, my daugher and I were both disappointed as we had not realised that the trousers were very narrow towards the bottom.... Nice material.

Best ever.... Bought them for my very, very extremely fussy teenager, with the adjustable waist band they are the perfect fit and length.

Bought 3 different pairs of trousers for my child who started Secondary this year. All were for the same age, but strangely this pair was two and a half inches shorter than the other 2 pairs! Have noticed that, for some reason, the trousers this year seem thinner in the material than in previous years. Used to get her trousers in grey, so not sure if black ones are made thinner or just cost cutting.

these trousers are very good usual M and S quality. I ordered a size 16 for my medium-tall 14 year old girl after reading the other reviews. I found it quite remarkable that a sixteen year old would fit these! although I was expecting the taper to be more dramatic it is much more subtle . but overall I am glad I purchased this product.

My daughter has just tuned 13 and wanted some fashionable school trousers. These fitted the bill, and after reading other reviews about the leg length been short, I ordered age 14 for her, even though she is below average height. They were way too short, so I returned them and ordered age 15 which were too big on the waist, but still a good couple of inches too short. Very strange sizing! We've had to give up on these and buy from elsewhere. Sorry!
