Available in long and extra long lengths for taller children. Crease-resistant fabric help creases fall out easily and our Stain and Weatherproof finish repels water and stains. They also come with and adjustable waist and grow proof hems, just unpick and press for an extra 3cm.

Grandson loved these trousers. He is tall and slim built and needed longer length but not bigger waist. With the slight stretch he finds them great at school for sitting playing etc with no restrictions. Good deep pockets and nice dark charcoal. We brought 3 pairs in all.

These are very good trousers for my son who has a slim waist and very long legs. They look very smart and are adjustable at the waist. It would be great if they could make similar sizes with thicker material for the Winter months.

Purchased slim leg as regular not available. Fit fine. Not clingy. As previous pairs before i had to take down the hem of the extra long as my son is 6ft6. Fit well. Adjustable waist perferred to a belt. Price fine. Size availabilty not so great.

What has happened to reliable M&S school uniform

I have been buying black school uniform trousers from M&S for years. This year the skinny cut that I usually buy was not a good fit so I returned them to replace them with an older age that was also not a good fit. My son is slim so the first purchase (online) should have been sufficient. When I returned the order to the store I noticed a large selection of the same fit on the racks that had been returned so I know I’m not the only one who had problems with the recent skinny fit. I then proceeded to buy a straight legged fit online (third attempt and a few weeks into school starting at this stage) and when they arrived they were a dark grey not black as the label suggested. My son had no choice but to wear them. He has since been asked by school to replace them with black trousers so as you can imagine I’m a bit miffed by it all.

I buy these trousers for both my son’s who are tall with no waist. I like that the hem of the trousers can be taken down again so you can get double use from them. My younger son still wears my older son’s outgrown trousers as the quality is so good. The colour doesn’t fade. I buy three pairs each year and they can last for years!

Bought these trousers because my son, anlthough only 15, is already so tall (30” inside leg) but also slim with a 26” waist. These have the extra length needed and the elasticated waste adjustments for a comfortable fit.

My son had these on his body for 20 minutes and the elastic waist adjuster literally split! Terrible quality and very disappointed. Not what I would have expected from M&S. Now forced to make a 30 mile round trip to return them as my local store closed.

Brilliant length but far too big on the waist even with it being slim fit. Shame as I use to get all my childrens uniform from you but over the years the waist size has just got bigger and bigger.

My son is a 5ft8, 14 year old with an athletic build. These 15-16 trousers are a great fit, and are made of a good quality strong fabric. They wash and iron well. He says they’re comfortable and likes that he can fit his hands in the pockets-he says some trousers he’s previously had have pockets for baby hands!

Good, but not as good value, why no double packs?
Brilliant for needed extra length (These are for a 16 year old at 5'7 which is definitely not unusually tall so I think your length sizing is way off from age 15-18). Also VERY annoying you don't sell extra longs or the Charcoal colour in slim leg in double packs, it seems discriminatory towards taller children and weird when you can buy 2 exactly the same trousers in all other lengths of grey and black for just £1 more.

Excellent trousers for my very tall & slim son
I struggle to find school trousers for my 6ft, very slim son. These trousers are fantastic as they are long enough for him & still have a adjustable waist. You can even let the hem down when they grow for a few extra centimetres
