This is my 6th coverless duvet from you (have I earned a reward yet 🤣) I started small with a duvet for my Motorhome and the convenience of being able to wash bedding while travelling, but my obsession with the coverless duvet grew from there. Love them! Love the hygiene aspect along with no longer needing to wrestle with duvet covers. The only niggle and it’s a small one, is that you need to take extra care if you tumble dry but as I preference my bedding air dryer it’s not to much of an issue. I am already planning my next buys, a white waffle 4.5tog (I already have tufted dots) for my king, and a blue tufted dots 4.5tog double for the guest bedroom.

Lovely and cosy

I am very pleased with this quilt so far as no more putting on quilt covers, which was beginning to get difficult for me. I am worried about washing it as I don't want it looking a sight once dried. I have washed the matching pillowcases twice and they are so creased they look awful. I dried them in the tumble dryer and even tried to iron them, although it says not to iron. I certainly don't want the quilt looking the same.

I bought a 10. 5 and a 4.5. Both were great but I have changed to a 4.5 now as was getting too hot. For the 10 you will need a 10 kg washing machine but the 4.5 fits ok in a 9 kg. You don’t need to wash them as often as a duvet cover.

My husband and I love our new duvet! I dislike changing covers. It’s so much easier now we are of an age not to want to struggle with bedding. Cosy too. A hit with us!

Can not be tumbled dried

No, I don't recommend this
Bought this can loved the look at first. However noticed a funny smell, washed and dried it as instructed, part of the duvet went rock hard and a 10.5tog, king size struggled in a 9/10kg washing machine and dryer. Contact company, responded super quick offered a replacement or 20% refund. Went to wash again, and this time dried it on a delicate setting. Again, something has melted on the inside and it now feels like there is hard plastic instead the quilt. I bought my daughters coverless duvets elsewhere which were 80% cheaper and they are better quality. This product only has a good quality prior to first wash.

I love this duvet! It is lightweight but cosy. The thought of not having to change a duvet cover is amazing. I just wish there was a greater range of fabrics.

Poor quality not tumble dry safe
After first wash and tumble dry parts of the blankets is hard. I did not dry on a high heat setting. The inner polyester seems to have melt and certain spots after tumble drying.

I recently bought the 10 tog version of this over and love it - lightweight but warm and cosy. Haven’t yet tried the 4.5 tog but am sure I will be just as delighted. The only possible issue I can foresee (with the 10 tog) is whether it will fit inside my washing machine.

This duvet is beautiful, love the design and the fact that you can use either side. Lovely colour. The only disappointment was I thought it had a white trim but it’s still very beautiful. Thank you M & S
