I ordered this ‘unsniffed’, just wanting pretty much anything sandalwood-ish. My god though, I hadn’t thought it would be so divine. I love the faint whiff of incense just detectable in it. Absolutely delighted. I’ve bought Fragonard at M&S many times but this one has really exceeded all my expectations. Mmm, it’s flipping gorgeous!

Purchased this as a treat to myself and because I absolutely love this perfume as I've had it before. I just love the Fragonard range, they never disappoint, are top notch quality and are exceptionally well priced . There are some stunning fragrances, really unusual and an extra bonus when there is a special offer available.

An expensive mistake

Normally I love the scent of sandalwood and cardamom but I am disappointed with this eau de parfum. On first try it was hard to detect a scent and when I put on more I didn't really like it. for me it was an expensive mistake.

I will admit to not trying before buying - I bought this after reading previous reviews as my current bottle of Jo Malone’s Cardamom & Mimosa is at its end. I have been disappointed with the smell of alcohol in this spray. If you like cardamom, you would be better off buying Jo Malone’s Cardamom & Mimosa. This spray is currently housed in the downstairs bathroom. Try it before you buy it, otherwise an expensive mistake!

I have several Fragonard scents and they are all lovely. This is very dominantly sandalwood, not as spicy as I thought it was going to be, but I bought it on trust as I love all the others so much. It's not a disappointment though, and will be good for everyday use. Nice to get it with a discount too. It makes it cheaper than buying it in France!

I like something a bit different, that's out of the ordinary and this perfume ticks all the boxes for me. Loved the warm tones of this, it's uplifting and lingers on your clothes. You will get asked about it! Will definitely buy again now I've discovered it in the Brighton store. Please keep stocking it M and S. Jo Malone do a cardamom perfume but this matches it and is cheaper so a winner for me.
