Saint Bris Sauvignon Blanc - Case of 6
Sorry, this item is no longer available
A crisp and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc, with fresh tangy lemon and mango flavours and a hint of green bell pepper.
This is a fine, modern example of Sauvignon from Saint-Bris, an area near Chablis which makes rare but deliciously clean and succulent Sauvignon Blancs. The chalky soil here is said to lend a mineral, even flinty quality to the wine. Winemaker David Delaye has left this white unoaked so its bright, fruity character really shines through. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap, our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.

I love Sauvignon St Bris
Yes, I recommend this
I have been a fan of this wine for many years and am delighted this year's wine continues the tradition of providing a crisp and fresh white wine with a lovely taste. But be warned its not got the same taste as Chilean or New Zealand Sauvignon, I think the French would tell you this is because the growing conditions are different in the different countries. And do my friends and family like it? Definitely!
