Runners High Waisted Running Shorts

I love them! I truly do. High rise, perfect fit - they are essential for my running. I will definitely buy them in different colours.

As others have said the pockets don’t hold your phone. The reason I purchased was for the number of pockets for long runs. I can just fit my iPhone in the side pockets but it then bounces on my leg the whole time, so a total waste of money

I thought these would be a game changer but.. meh. I've always taken a small in Power shorts but these I got in a medium after seeing how tiny they were in store. I was desperate for pockets after my first marathon and shoving so much in side and back of the Power set that those areas were a bit tender afterwards. There are a lot of pockets, which are all too small for a phone to go all the way in (it doesn't stay tucked under the top flap on side of leg, wouldn't trust it for sitting down). The rear pocket is much smaller with shorter zip opening. Normal running without a million gels, the waistband flicked up and down which was annoying but might be different when pockets are stuffed. The waistband felt like it didn't wick as well and was soggy when I had to put them back on heading home from work. It looks like the fabric is folded and glued down for a big band across the front but I'm not sure what that's supposed to be doing. I would prefer the current Power shorts with side pockets on both legs. If I was being fussy, I'd also move the rear zip up so it's more of a slide in and out than a tuck in pocket. I won't buy these again and they will probably be a last resort in my shorts rotation.

These are the best shorts. I have them in the legging version and they are also great. The shorts don’t move, plenty of room for phone and gel. If you are in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up. I’m a M/L and I went for an L. They don’t move!

I love these shorts, I currently buy a xs in other SB shorts but bought these in a small. They have more compression than the power shorts but I love that - and the high waist which is very comfortable. Good zip pocket and phone pocket- they will be in my flat lay for the Lakeland 50 this July.

Gutted. I was really excited for these but within 1/2 mile I was yanking the legs back down. This doesn't happen with the normal SB power shorts, it's almost like there's too much material with all the thigh pockets that they doesn't flex as you run. Other similarly priced running shorts have leg grippers to stop this happening, something SB should consider.
