I purchased this dress in size 16 for my daughter's wedding but it was too big on top as I'm a size 14. I also would have preferred it to be round neck and not a v neck. I reluctantly had to take it back but it was very good value for money, a good length as I'm 5' 11", with three quarter sleeves a real bonus and I would like to see M&S doing more occasion dresses for events like weddings. Perhaps a new range to consider?

Why are marks and spencer dumbing all their garments down? This dress "Looks" classy and beautiful, but as with many of the items lately, being unlined is such a disadvantage. Customers would happily pay an additional £10 if the garments were lined and sat much better on the body. The fabric in this dress was also too thick to be comfortable

From the picture on line, this was a lovely dress, great colour and style. However, I could not believe the weight of the material - it was like wearing a coat. I wanted to wear it to a summer wedding, so was very disappointed to return to store. Lovely idea and colour and especially the length for tall people. Try again in a lighter weight material.

I bought this dress having seen it on Lorraine, I thought it would be perfect for a wedding in May. The dress fits well but it is really heavy material so if it’s a hot day I’m not sure I will cope. Also the bottom of the sleeves are a little weird, I can’t make up my mind if I like them or not!

Gorgeous colour in thick scuba material, flattering dress. Despite a lot of negative reviews, it fitted and suited me perfectly, maybe not everyone's body shape and height suits the style!! You can't be short or plump to get away with this dress. I loved it, the neckline, length, ruffle cuff and shade of pink makes it look much more expensive than it is.

I must admit I had read the reviews on this dress prop to ordering but I loved the colour and style. The dress is so heavy - I ordered a 10 my normal size and I’m 5’ 7” - the bottom half was perfect and came to below the knee - but the top was huge - nedfkess to say its gone back .....

This a very flattering fit and ideal for a wedding. I like the heavy material as it won’t crease. Wish they did more flattering styles for ladies with the usual hang ups of fatter tummy’s and wanting to hide arms.

I was looking forward to trying on this dress but was very disappointed once it was on. The style is lovely but it weighed a tonne handling it and actually putting it on which gave you the feeling that it was not part of you and felt like putting on armour plating suit. Will have to send it back I am afraid.

Disappointed with this dress. Why was it so unflattering? Perhaps the fit- particularly large around the bust, skirt not straight enough to make the longer midi length attractive. Possibly because the material is not stretchy enough to ‘contour’ the figure as expected. Although the colour looked pretty in the photograph, when tried on it emphasised the dowdy appearance overall.
