Romine II Waterproof Hooded Raincoat

Surprisingly warm! I worried that it wouldn’t be but it’s cosy and keeps me beautifully warm even in the driving rain and wind we’ve had recently in Devon. Love the colour and the length too. Bargain as bought in the sale so what’s not to like?!

Great coat which is warm and waterproof. As I’m on the short side it nearly reaches my wellies which is a bonus for keeping dry.

This coat has kept me warm and dry on a number of recent 2 hour walks, during frequent rain showers. It's a good length. I ordered a size 10, & it's a perfect fit, doesn't swamp me, & has plenty of room for base layer & jumper underneath. I'm not a fan of big patch pockets, prefer zipped side pockets, but because I like everything else about this coat, the patch pockets are ok.

I badly needed a waterproof coat, I have had a few over the years but have always leaked and ended up wet . Since buying this coat I have been out in some pretty bad downpours and my coat has kept me warm and dry. The only problem it does have are the way the pockets are designed and I cannot put my hands in to keep them dry. Need some waterproof mittens.

Brilliant lightweight coat, insulated so it keeps you warm without bulk.the grown on hood is excellent- good size and shape, it actually stays up unlike big floppy hoods. The warm lining in the hood means I dont need a hat or head band. Rumba red is a gorgeous colour. This is my 2nd full length coat like this . I gave my 1st to my sister as size 10 was a bit snug. I am 5ft 9st 2. The size 12 is perfect on me. I own 5 Trespass coats/jackets ( I do a LOT of walking) all waterproof, never got wet. Perfect.

Feel well protected from the wind and rain. It is also warm and with a fur lined hood well protected when you need to be from the elements

I bought one two weeks ago from our local garden centre, i lke it so much ive bought another one in different colour. I can honestly say its definately waterproof .. comfortable to wear and fits well. Highly recommend.

It's yet to be tested in a downpour, but it's a nice warm coat. I like the fact you can undo the zip at the bottom – otherwise it would be quite tight around the legs so difficult to crouch down in. The one issue I have so far is that the rear edge of the pocket flap is sewn down, presumably for security against rain etc, but it makes it more difficult to get your hands in and out of the pockets so is quite frustrating.

I’m giving this coat 4 stars mainly because the hood is a bit too small. It covers my head but sits slightly too far back from my forehead, which is a little annoying. I usually wear a thin hoodie with a bigger hood underneath to fix that. That said, it’s completely waterproof. Over the past week I’ve stayed cosy and dry, and I love the length—it keeps the chill off the back of my legs and bum. It’s not the most flattering coat on me, but it definitely does the job. The arms are a good length, and it’s clearly breathable. I walk quite quickly and sometimes feel a bit warm, but I’ve never felt sweaty. The material is a bit plasticky, but that’s expected with waterproof fabric. Overall, I wouldn’t wear it except for winter dog walks, but it’s great quality and good value for money. Sorry for the mixed review—ha ha!
