It took me an age to buy this because the photos shows two distinctly different colours . The chestnut conker colour, which would match my other furniture is not correct. The chair is a caramel brown with lighter ash arms . Consequently, It contrast with my furniture. I did realise this before buying as this discrepancies was noted by an other reviewer. I think the dark brown photo is misleading.

These chairs are beautiful. I first saw them in a shop in Lymington at a huge price and then found them on the M&S site a much lower sum with a small delivery fee. They are ash, well made with leather cushions. They fit very well in our lounge.

The chair looks just as in the photos, is a great size and looks great in the room I envisaged it in. The only negative is how firm the seat cushion is - it is rigid. It will no doubt soften over time but it's far firmer than I expected. Quality of the leather and the oak is very good.

Love the look of this chair which is very comfortable. We bought 2 along with the Mr Paddington sofa - they go together very well in our kitchen/family room.

This chair looks like it costs a lot more than it did. Very well made, comfortable and stylish
