Relaxed Fit Lyocell Rich Pleat Front Trousers

My first disappointing purchases in years of buying from M&S. I bought 5 pairs of trousers and this review covers them all as I do not intend to write five near identical reviews. The trousers were so badly folded that they were very creased. The correct pressing of vertical creases was non existent. All were meant to be 34w 29il but two were far too long but had the bottom of the This covers five pairs of trousers but I do not intend to submit five reports. All were so badly packaged that they were a complete mess with creases throughout. All were ordered as waist 34 and inner legs 29. Three pairs were correct but th other two were longer and loosely folded to produce unwanted turnups that just fell down when the trousers were worn. Needless to say I will buy in store or elsewhere in future. I have ended up having to put them all in to my local dry cleaner to shorten the two wrong length pairs and to properly press all five pairs. Needless to say I will be buying in store in future or buying elsewhere.

Package arrived eventually, must have been sent by slow mail. On opening this small package, the trousers were very badly creased, obviously the packer did not fold using the trouser creases, so now there are two! Took absolutely ages to iron and get something like wearable, but the material is difficult to press. Fit very well, as per measurements. Colour as expected Will have to keep them now, but not what I expected from the website. This is the problem, my local M & S do not stock the item, so unable to view before I buy. i appreciate I could have sent them back, but they did fit well and I thought the creases would iron out - wrong!

Whilst this perhaps might just be my naivety with what lyocell was and how it behaves, the material is really poor. Easily creases - has a weird glossy shine to it. Shame as well -the fit is perfect, would love the exact same product but made with cotton or wool.
