Bought these trousers with the associated jacket to replace an old M&S suit which is now too big for me, having lost weight post retirement, in anticipation of attending a family wedding. The suit looks very classy and fits well in line with the stated sizing. I think I actually paid more than this about 18 years ago for the suit it replaces from M&S so tremendous value IMHO.

My son was pleased with the style and quality. The only problem was that our M&S branch only stocked the suit jackets - a bizarre marketing decision - so the (very helpful) staff had to find a similar product to check sizing, then we had to order the trousers separately. Fortunately it all worked out in the end.

The waistband is secured with a double clip system but I believe that a double button system is preferable to the two clips provided as some of the other pants are provided with. I can't see this system lasting so the first thing that I have to do is get a button fitted

The quality off the garment is excellent and I'm pleased with that aspect how ever having brought suits on line from other firms on line I have all ways managed to get a perfect fit with a regular sizing but I have found these a little tight although the material may give a little with wear

I bought attempred to purchase a 3 piece suit. I had success with the suit jacket a size 52 and the trousers a size 44 waist but the waistcoat comes in a size 48 this is it's largest size. So if i need a size 52 in the suit jacket why can't i get the same size in a waistcoat? The largest being 4 sizes too small!

After purchasing the larger size, they were ‘baggy’ so I returned them and ordered a size smaller - perfect. They did feel tight at first but that not too loose elastic waist did the trick. Also the feel of the material was just right. Affordable quality.
