Regular Fit Luxury Cotton Double Cuff Dress Shirt

Shirt isn't bad but the buttons are terrible, badly designed cheap rubbish that completely spoil the look of the shirt. Fortunately I found a seamstress who could do a last-minute save by replacing them with buttonholes so the correct studs could be used. Won't be buying one of these again.

I bought the two dress shirts for £70 one had the wing collar. They are made of good quality cotton. The collars are crisp. They fit me well. Plenty of room in the regular fit. The black buttons are a bit fiddly to do up . I would recommend these shirts to friends

This dinner shirt needed to be one whole size bigger than for your other shirts for the neck button to do up. Also the stud buttons were very tight to fasten.

The shirt is very short in the sleeves. I used to buy M&S shirts 2 inch longer in the body and sleeves but these are no longer available. I will have to return them and buy a brand that offers longer shirts.

Bought for my husband as we have 3 smart dinner dances arranged for this year and his old one was looking tired. Always buy his clothes from marks and spencer and this has not let me down. The material is good quality and its nice to see a traditional regular cut shirt with winged collar, all these fitted shirts are no use to the ordinary older man. I also like the black buttons which make a nice change.

I bought this last August in advance of a Caribbean cruise as there was a 20% discount and thought I'd better try it on before we go. Getting the buttons undone was a struggle and virtually impossible so I went into our local store and of course the assistant found it easy to unbutton!! I then looked at the reviews which show many have had the same problem. The top button has much more depth than other M&S shirts so I changed it and while its a bit easier to undo it when not wearing, I grew a beard trying to undo the collar button when taking it off! In addition the studs are difficult to undo so rather than undoing all of them I found it easier to just undo the first couple then slip it over my head. I've also noticed that the labels on the bag and the shirt refer to it being a "two part set" which makes the washing instructions confusing. Perhaps I'll grow another beard trying to work that out. Should a bow tie have come with it? The shirt appears to be of good quality and has a lovely feel to it and is good value considering it includes studs and passable cufflinks which I will probably remove before laundering. So would I recommend it? Yes if you have nimble fingers and are prepared for a bit of a struggle. I guess that as there are no stocks available, this review may well be of academic interest, however should they return to stock I hope that the buyers will have taken notice of the trend these reviews have taken.

Good fitting shirt , glad to see a regular fit instead of the normal slim fit products ! Fairly expensive for a shirt, but needs must !

Lovely soft material and well made. But the buttons are very difficult to fasten and undo as the button holes are slightly to small.

Good quality and fit. Bought whilst on offer . If it was normally priced less than £40 I would give it 5 stars

As ever, with M and S, the cut I wanted was not available in my size. Then when I compromised over the cut to get the right size, the arms were too short. To cap that the cuff-links broke within hours.

I bought two online for my husband. One arrived rather crumpled like it had been returned and sent straight out while the other was nicely presented. The fit on the chest of the two was slightly different but both basically were true to size. As others have noted the button holes were quite tight but manageable and I am sure will loosen. We were pleased with the shirts.
