Pure Wool Tapestry Rug

This rug looks great and feels good under the naked foot too. I was so sorry that it didn't compliment what is already in my room.

I had been stalking this run online for a while and finally asked for it as a birthday gift. It is even nicer in person than in the photo and much more expensive looking (and feeling) that the price suggests. I absolutely love it.

I was very pleased with this rug when I first received it , the colours are beautiful and the quality appeared good , but after 5 days I noticed that tufts were appearing in the pile all over the rug and some were pulling out so I had to return it .

This is a very nice rug, particularly because it is hand tufted. I would have given it the highest ratings but for the fact that the rug delivered is not as illustrated on the website. The fifth illustration headed 'Medium Rug' (the only size available when I ordered) shows this rug from above, and gives the dimensions. It shows that the rug has a border of multicoloured lozenges on beige background, and that it is 170 cm long and 120 cm wide. The rug I was sent has no border, and is somewhat smaller at 166 cm x 120 cm. The border is an intrinsic design feature of oriental rugs of this type, and as the illustration shows would make the rug even more attractive. Another reviewer has also noticed that the rug has no border. I tried to establish why this is the case, and think that my rug may be the odd one out. Although not totally convinced by this purchase, I still like the rug, and would like to keep it in the hope that it will wear well.

This rug wasn't expensive with the 20 per cent discount offer and has brightened up our living room with its colours, and as there are plenty of colours in it, it's easy to match it to existing furniture such as our dark blue sofas

Been looking for a rug for ages, anything I liked mega expensive. Saw this on line and took a chance, it is beautiful really adds a warmth to the living room and the price with 20% off amazing, everyone who has visited has remarked on the beautiful colours. More like this please M & S!

Bought a large rug because I loved the colours. However within a couple of weeks it started looping, with threads hanging out an area under our feet (the rug was half underneath the sofa). If it was just one patch I would have turned it so that the worn patch was hidden, because I was so pleased with the colours, but another area then started showing signs of threads pulling up and looping. Thinking it might be a 1-off, I tried to get it replaced. Unfortunately it was, and still is, out of stock. Very disappointed because I cannot find another one like it.

Bought a medium sized rug to sit on our wooden hall floor. It’s vibrant and took a few days to get used to. Fortunately, the hall is big enough to take it. Good quality and hoovers well. I’d now like a runner to match!

This rug just finishes my hallway off, the colours are warm. Excellent purchase,great value.

I had read the previous reviews that stated the colour was not the same as the web site .but unfortunately I returned it not just because of the washed out colours but it looked as if it was a piece of carpet that had been cut up and edged. To say that I was disappointed is an under statement has I had waited months for the rug to come back in stock. . I can honestly say that I am getting very despondent with Marks and Spencer’s products . There is no where near where I live where you can view the rugs . Therefore purchasing on line is the only option available . Only positive is the good return policy of Marks and Spencer’s.

Absolutely love this rug, so vibrant and as it is wool, lovely and warm, we have underfloor heating, so therefore the rug feel lovely and toasty underfoot.

We recently bought the medium size of this vibrant tapestry rug, and it immediately lifted our living room. It looks great on our veneered floor, on which it does not slip around unlike some cheaper rugs. Quality tufted wool on a cotton weaved back. Looking forward to enjoying this rug for a considerable length of time. Would definitely recommend.

We were considering changing our carpet but when we saw this rug we realised we could add some much needed colour to our predominantly beige room. With cushions to blend in with the rug’s autumn hues we will have a cheerful living room for when skies are grey.
