Pure Wool Longline Cardigan

I have wanted a long cardigan (with pockets) for a while but just couldn’t find the right one and although initially put off by the price of this one, I decided after reading the reviews to give it a go. So glad I did. I can see I will get a lot of use out of it. It is a lovely weight and quality, perfect for spring and autumn weather but would probably wear all year round, casual with jeans and t shirt, or a blouse and trousers. Hoping the use I will get out of it will justify the price.

I have bought longline cardigans before and felt swamped by them, but this cardigan is light and the fabric is smooth and it just sits on me with ease. I have had a lot of use out of it so I bought it in another colour.

I read the reviews and wasn't disappointed with the quality, but I did find the style rather formal when I was really looking for something more casual.

This cardigan is so fabulous that I have bought it twice! The style is super flattering and the quality is outstanding. I recommend the navy blue one as it goes with everything and is perfect for all seasons!

I bought this to wear now as hopefully there is no need for a coat as we move to summer. It’s a good length in body and arms - I’m 6ft - and the material is soft but with structure. I haven’t washed it and hoping it doesn’t pile much. I bought with birthday vouchers but it was quite costly! I am happy with navy blue it goes with jeans etc and is smart.

Absolutely thrilled to find Jaeger quality is still alive and well - and easily accessible on-line coupled with Collect in Store. I have worn Jaeger knitwear for years and loved it for its durability, no pilling cashmere, style - and the fact that each garment keeps its shape, even when washed in a machine. I have high hopes that this cardigan will be true to its label’s reputation - and so far, so good! A very good price, actually, for this quality.

I had the medium in black I bought 10 years ago. Have since expanded slightly so now have black and blue in the Large being a size 14 - 16. A perfect fit. The old one still looks as good as new and has now gone to a new home for someone else to love.

This cardigan has already become a favourite. I like that it heavy as the knit is tight. It is worth paying extra for a Jaegar cardigan. I have a Jaegar long cotton aran-pattern type sweater that I bought in 1992 and I still have people comment on how lovely it is.

I bought this to replace one I bought eight years ago and this is identical. So delighted that the quality is exactly what to expect from Jaeger

The longline cardigan is perfect. Superbly long with a a lovely swing to it . Really very pleased .

I absolutely love this cardigan. It’s long as I wanted and it’s lovely merino wool. I like good cashmere for some things, but generally the wool is much stronger, and has a lovely shape. I bought it in Navy.

Lovely quality item. I purchased Navy and went back for the one in Black as a really versatile cardigan for Spring/Summer.

Great cardigan - excellent quality as you would expect from Jaeger. Warm and soft, fit is spot-on, elegant and can be worn as casual and formal. Very pleased with it.
