Fab fabric and colour
I love the colour and pattern of the fabric, especially as it's 100% wool from a UK heritage mill. The cut and fit is a bit oversized, but after a few ' fashion parades' at home I realise this is part of the styling and with a big scarf it looks fab!

Blue coat
Yes, I recommend this
I’ve been looking for a blue check coat for ages to replace a much loved one I’ve had for years. This is a great design, for example the drop shoulder and 100% wool content. At 5’3” the length is perfect, arms a fraction too long for me but not enough to worry about. I’m a standard 12 but tend to go for 14 in M&S, the 12 in this is plenty big enough with room for a chunky jumper so would say it comes up big.
