I paid a premium to order what i thought was a cotton product. Its NOT. The lining, ie the very part that covers you is polyurethane. Imagine how sticky sweaty it would be in summer. Yuck.

Well made, light and lovely to sleep under, the white colour looks fresh and brightens up my bedroom. But be aware that this cotton quilt is much heavier when washed than the quilts with synthetic outer layer because it holds the water and it takes longer to line dry. The weight is only an issue if you like to line dry your bedding and you've purchased a coverless quilt because you have neck and back pain, putting it on the line is harder.

Lovely white cotton duvet - looks and feels luxurious. Haven't washed it yet - hoping the king size fits in our washing machine as promised!

I wasn't sure about ordering a cover less duvet, but this is amazingly good quality and looks beautiful too. I bought it for our motorhome (changing a duvet cover in a small space is way too much hassle!) and it if perfect. Not washed it yet, but pillowcases wash up beautifully so I'm sure this will as well very happy customer :)

Lovely soft quilt - I haven't had to wash it yet but I love the fact that I won't have to fight with a duvet cover when I do! Great idea :)

I have them on all the beds. Fantastic quality, they wash really well and are easy to dry. I opted for the cotton version and haven't been disappointed.

This coverless duvet makes me feel as if I am sleeping in a soft meringue. Heavenly dreams in snug warmth (10.5 tog). It's machine washable and dries quickly (not for tumble drier). I have a 10kg capacity machine.

I bought the 4.5 tog coverless duvet in white and although pricey, it is fantastic. Made of cotton so breathable, very lightweight yet warm, it's perfect. It also looks very smart. I prefer a lightweight summer duvet that I can layer up in the winter with a throw or two. Haven't washed it so will see how that goes!

We have used only 4.5 tog duvets all year round so decided that is what we would purchase again. It came well packaged and in its own canvas duffle bag. Very light but very warm with a soft feel. Nice waffle textured duvet. Haven't washed it yet but currently very pleased. ( my pet hate is putting quilt covers on)

The coverless duvet is really good quality. I was a bit worried as I'm fussy about the feel and quality of duvet covers, so I chose this as it's cotton and I wasn't at all disappointed- it feels lovely and is really comfortable. It's great to not have a duvet lost in a cover.

A really high quality product. Looks great, incredibly comfortable to sleep under, and really convenient to wash. Definitely need AT LEAST a 10kg washing machine, even for the 4.5 tog king size version, and would need an even larger capacity again for the 10.5 tog version. Mine is a 10kg washing machine and I wash the duvet and then put the 4 pillowcases and king sheet in a separate wash because the duvet is a tight squeeze on its own. The 100% cotton cover takes much much longer to dry than previous coverless duvets I've had, so bear that in mind if you haven't got a tumble dryer. I wash it first thing and put it on two extra fast spins, then have to rotate it in front of the radiator until the evening, and even then it's only just dry enough to go back on the bed.. not sure how that will work in Spring / Autumn when the heating isn't on so much, but it will be great on the line in the summer. Previous synthetic coverless duvets I've had tend to dry in about 2-3 hours on the airer, so quite a difference, but worth it for the quality, it really does feel like luxury bedding
