Beautiful but not worth the money

Looks beautiful on the bed, it’s very soft, and the zipper closure is handy however the quality doesn’t reflect the price paid for it. There are already a few thread pulls on the duvet. It’s disappointing that larger pillowcases aren’t supplied for a superking set - they look really lost on the bed and I’ll have to buy larger plain ones to sit behind the patterned ones. In an ideal world it would be great to have some sort of tie in either corners to keep the duvet in place. I’d lusted after this duvet for some time and I don’t think I would repurchase.

Soft smooth and stylish
Soft and smooth finish and the French navy works well in my grey bedroom. Doesn’t crease easily and I love the zip fastening on the quilt cover. I washed on cotton easy iron setting and after a line dry it only needs a quick whizz over

This is a pretty bedding set, it looks and feels quite luxurious. I like the zip fastening which reminds me of my first duvet cover I had as a child in the 1970s. The only thing I don't like is the Oxford edging as I like to wash, dry and store my duvet covers inside out as it makes it easier to put them on, I can't do this with the Oxford edging as it crumples it up too much.

My search was for a cover with a zip, sadly fastening is not among the search criteria. This cover is well made and nice to sleep under and the zip works well. I washed it to get rid of the packing creases - washed well - also tumble dried on low setting - good - I don't iron bedding - however, dryer filters were thick with blue fibres. The navy blue is a more muted shade than I was expecting. Might have returned it given the price, but I couldn't go through the zip fastening search again. Some of the covers I liked were o/s online. It is difficult for me to get to a store owing to mobility problems.
