Poor quality disappointing

The reason why I bought this robe is that I have what I thought (and was advised by your shop assistant) was the same M&S robe I bought in white about a year ago which I love very much. I wanted to have more arm space and bought it in a larger size. In practice the towel is not of same quality and I’m really disappointed. It doesn’t feel like I can dry my body using the towel. Extremely upsetting.

Quality is excellent, lovely thick towelling; can put it on straight out of the shower and it dries you off a treat. However, the pictures are very misleading on the length. This dressing gown comes just below the knee, not halfway down the calf, as the pictures hint at. I am 5’7” so not super tall.

Extreme shedding and wear

You may have read in other reviews that this robe sheds a lot and disregarded, like I did, assuming that many towelling bath robes shed and you get used to it. Please know this is shedding is on another level, especially if you’re wet. In addition, although just 6 weeks old, this bathrobe is showing signs of wear and tear. This is such a shame, because when I first received this, it felt so lovely and luxurious and still does. I feel very disappointed.

I am really pleased with this purchase as I've been looking for a good quality towelling dressing gown for some time. The fabric is soft and thick and a treat to wear after a shower. The sizing is very generous however. I am usually a size 12 but even the small size was too big for me but the extra small fitted me perfectly.
