Pure Cotton Pointelle Pyjama Shorts

I really liked this material and colour but unfortunately these shorts were just too short and skimpy for me as a much older woman.

Although attractive, these pointelle short pyjama bottoms are very badly made. The central cross seam unravelled even before they were washed.

These pyjama shorts are very baggy and the gusset is tiny. Washed well and now destined for recycling .

Purchased these shorts during the recent heatwave. Whilst the fabric and shorts are very cool to wear the sizing is absolutely enormous. The gusset hangs down almost down to my knees and the legs are just so wide and short my bottom is always in show. Unfortunately wore them before it became apparent so now have them and will try to alter how they hang with my good old needle and cotton. Ordered my normal M&S size but they are just huge and all wrong. I realise they are meant to hang kind of like a skirt but that big long gusset just means that are not right. Not sure if they would’ve been better if the whole shorts were longer.
