Pretty summer skirt

I originally treated myself to this cotton skirt despite the high £50 price tag, and was naturally disappointed to then see it online repriced at £30, reduced to £21 in the sale. I subsequently bought my daughter one, as she had admired mine. However I remain annoyed that M&S repriced this skirt, as it leaves me feeling that I paid over the odds.

This is the most beautiful skirt from M&S ever! It's super light and breezy. I got the petite size but it's still pretty long. The lace details are delicate though after wearing it just once, a bit of the lace tore (not sure if it came like that). Bought the item in sale, still very happy with the style

This is such a lightweight and breezy skirt - true to size but is very long…I ordered the regular and petite length and there wasn’t much difference with both nearly at my ankles. Lovely soft quality for £30 Ultimately I returned as the pintuck pleats on the front just made it too difficult to style for me. But definitely give it a go as it’s so lightweight and perfect for hot days!

Lovely shirt had to take back once as did not fit well , got a replacement and was smaller that the first. Will be taking it back and get refund .

slightly wrong
The skirt is very pretty but it sits too high on the waist or too low across the hips which changes the way it shapes on the body. I wish it did fit better. It is very very pretty and light.

This is a very soft and thin cotton which is very pretty but I would not be comfortable wearing it out. More of a nightie fabric really. Shame because the design with the pintucks and the cutwork is lovely.

This was a wild card purchase for me as I’m not really a skirt person but so far it’s done a music festival (for a more mature festival goer!) a shopping trip during the heatwave and a pub lunch. Easy to dress up or down. Excellent purchase. The lining is sufficiently long to be modest with a quite see-through fabric

Nice skirt, perfect for summer Fits well, true to size So nice to see petite length is available much more now (I'm 5ft 4) and petite length was perfect. It would have been 5* if the lining had been a little longer to the knee. As the material is quite thin, I will wear a slip underneath
