I love this skirt. I bought it because I needed a navy skirt but have ended up wearing it lots and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it too. It feels so feminine to wear. It’s a bit floaty and hangs beautifully. It’s a great length which I think makes it feel so feminine. The skirt is really easy to wash and iron and the size is just right. I’ve been wearing it for most of the time since I received it.

I already own two Abigail skirts which I bought last summer, which fit me perfectly and have an elasticated waistband. I thought this navy plain skirt would be a nice addition to my wardrobe, and it looked well made, but the elasticated waistband was so tight I couldn't get the skirt above mid thigh because the elastic shirring on the back was so tight and had barely any stretch! I was very disappointed, and returned it to the shop the next day.

I love this skirt - light and floaty material, easy to wear with the elastic at the back but doesn’t look bunched up due to the flat front of the waistband. Longer than I normally wear but flattering - so much so I’ve now ordered another one in a different print.

This skirt has been an airy, cool godsend this hot June! It's not lined, but as it's a dark colour, that's fine, and makes it even cooler! I love the navy colour - softer and classier than black, imo - but would love it in other colours.

Ordered this skirt from the petite range as finding skirts/trousers at the right length can be a challenge. Although it was the right length and a lovely colour, the gathering and type of fabric made it seem bulky around the hips. The waistband was true to size. For this reason I returned the skirt as unfortunately it just doesn't suit me.

Good quality but too much fabric for me. This is a lovely skirt but I am short and there is a bulk of fabric around the hips and it is long, even the petite version. It would look wonderful on a tall slender person though.
