This is a stunning dress. I tried it on in the shop and was taken by the gorgeous olive colour and absolutely class style. However, it was only when trying it on in natural lighting at home that I saw the issues… Anybody interested in buying this dress should search all reviews mentioning the pockets. The pockets are extremely deep (great!) but the fabric used is the same thickness as the dress itself. This creates two large ‘bags’ at the hips which you cannot flatten down - it makes you look extremely wide in this area. I could probably cope with this, but then I sat down. The two pockets bunch out, giving you two handles of baggy fabric which looks very odd! I tried everything to get them down but it didn’t work. This is surely a glaring design flaw and I can only imagine the 5 star reviews are from those who have only hastily tried the dress on whilst standing, as I had originally done? I am so disappointed as the dress is otherwise absolutely dreamy - honestly like someone has taken the ideal summer dress design from my head. I will sadly be returning it tomorrow. A note on the size - I had no issues with a low v neck; it sat perfectly on the top half with no cleavage. The dress does run large - I am only recently a solid size 10 after being a 12-14 most of my adult life however I rather joyously had to swap the 10 for an 8 in the changing room as the 10 swamped me. The 8 is generously comfortable.

Nice comfortable and flattering dress, even in the hot weather. The dress is just a little on the large side, but I’m happy with that. It’s a good length below my knees, so is not too long (I’m 5’3”). I have washed the dress and it washes well - just hand it up to dry.

The dress is a lovely denim colour and fits well apart from the length as l was unable to get in a petite. The 14 was rather large so l opted for a 12 . I always wash my dresses first and was amazed by how much blue dye came out, l hand washed and then machine washed and rinsed twice. I would have given a higher scoring if this had not happened.

I already had the long sleeved version of this dress and I love it, so when I saw the short sleeved version I had to get it. It is really flattering if like me you have a fuller figure. I was worried it wouldn’t be long enough (I’m 5 foot 11) but it was fine and was still a midi length on me. The thicker material is great on slightly cooler sunny days, which living in Scotland, is fairly normal. I bought this in the navy blue colour and would love it if it came in dark green or dark purple colours too. I definitely recommend this dress.

A little thick material fior this hot weather but it is a lovely dress. The embroidery all over is different and it does feel nice to wear. I have worn it in the evening with a chinky necklace. I have several dresses in this style, they suit me and are so comfortable. Don"t ever stop making this dress White Stuff.
