Pure Cotton High Neck Ruffle Blouse

This blouse hangs very well and the design is most attractive.

Bought this as an alternative to the classic white shirt. Very nice quality material, but that is reflected in the price. I am thinking of running some elastic about 4 inches up from the hem to create a peplum, which would give the blouse a little more shape for my petite frame. Overall a good addition to a classic wardrobe.

Bought at the very last minute when realising I had nothing to go with my kilt and short jacket. Well done M&S for getting it to me pronto! The blouse is very pretty, be aware that the fabric is... very fine! This makes it rather see-through which is not apparent in the photo, it is also very roomy and you will certainly NOT need to 'size up' I have to admit to scrunching up the whole lot and stuffing it into my underwear! The ruffled neck looks very sweet, and is a Godsend to ladies of a certain age, need I say more? I can actually see me wearing it loosely under a summer suit with the neck unfastened. An unexpectedly good buy.

A design with style and elegance, which gives an air of snowy charm for this time of year. Easily matched with a long or shorter skirt length, or perhaps a pair of denim jeans plus sweater for a bracing after lunch walk. An ideal solution.

Very thin flimsy cloth. Creases up so badly it could do with re-ironing. Have not yet washed it. IT looks very much the part, nice style and a change from the usual high neck of this kind of shirts, nice and feminine, but I cannot see it lasting very long.
