Pure Cotton Embroidered Collared Shirt

As it looks in the picture, very elegant. I am happy with it.

I recently discovered White Stuff blouses while I was looking to update my spring/summer blouses and have purchased 6 of the “Sophie cotton range” from both M&S & the White Stuff shop. I am extremely delighted with the cut and fabric as well as the different colours & patterns. The cut ensures they skim across the tummy & bottom without clinging & don’t look square or boxy.

I already have one of these in a different colour way and loved it so much I thought I would buy another one. This one seems a little thinner, and is more translucent, a flesh coloured bra might be best when wearing this. Other than that it is a perfect casual shirt that looks as good with jeans as well as more formal attire. The different coloured stitching on the buttons is a nice little touch.

I love the idea of a white shirt more than the reality; the sharp clean look is hard to maintain in real life. This shirt is a happy compromise in a soft cotton and offers a great fit. The off-white colour of the fabric and the embroidery will help distract from the inevitable stains from summer wear!

I have several of these White stuff Sophie shirts. They are such soft cotton, easy to wash and need minimum ironing. This one with it's delicate embroidery looks great with jeans but could equally been worn with work wear. I am 5ft 6ins and 10/12 and bought the 12 for a looser fit.
