These socks were lovely new and instructions said you could machine wash at 40 degrees. I machine washed at 30 degrees and the wool felted. Therefore, can only probably hand wash.

I bought the pink socks. Very soft and comfortable only a little too loose for me (size 7) they tended to work down. I would prefer bamboo socks which stay in place. I thought they would be a treat but disappointed. A lesson learnt.
