The colour is not the brown I envisioned, it seems to have a purple tint,but love the cashmere haven’t worn it yet but hopefully it washes as well as the ones bought in previous years

Very disappointed. I’ve been buying cashmere cardigans from M&S for many many years but this year the quality is very poor. Thin, scratchy and not worthy of being called cashmere at all, sorry.

Very nice typical M&S cashmere. I usually buy a piece or 2 every year when there is an offer. I do miss the velvet lining behind the buttons they used to have on their cardigans but this is very nice. The dark brown colour is also fabulous - so glad browns are in this year. Just note it is a very dark brown. I ordered medium and fit is slightly loose- as can always shrink down- I am usually an 8.

This cardigan is lovely. The red shade is warm and rich and the texture of the cashmere beautifully soft. It's also a perfect length - lower-mid hip (I'm 5' 6") so it's also flattering. I hope M&S makes them in more jewel-like vibrant colours soon and not the neutral choices they currently have alongside this stunning red.

Love M&S cashmere

Lovely and soft. The red is a fabulous shade and I'll be getting a lot of wear out of it. I'll be wearing it belted over a skirt and french tucked into jeans/trousers. Last year I bought the roll neck and I've also added the short sleeved cardi in ivory this year too. Don't think you can have too many beautiful pieces in classic and modern cashmere. (oh it washes beautifully too)

I have had great use out of a M&S Cappuccino sweater s10 so thought I would get a cardigan. I was a bit disappointed with the colour choices which are classic, but I feel a cardigan can be a bit more daring. Also there are only S, M and L instead of the usual size range, so I got medium which was a bit bigger than I wanted. So it is fine. It is a bit boring and needs "styling" eg pushing up the somewhat baggy sleeves, tucking it in, opening various buttons. The quality of the yarn is OK for the price, but its not special. Also I am getting a bit annoyed that I never get invited to write reviews of items I return. It is also good to listen to more negative feedback IMO.

Not so sure on the new sizing
Loved the cashmere cardigan, and fortunately the size large fitted my size 16 self. However I am not a fan of the small medium large type sizing. Would like colour coordination between the clothing in M&S. Would like to see the same colours they use for their knitwear, in their heatgen tops to match the cardigans/jumpers and tops in coordinated colours too.
