I finally went for it and bought these shorts! I haven’t worn them yet but they look and feel great and should be ideally cool in the heat. The length is perfect for me at mid thigh. I am size 10/12 depending on the garment and having read the reviews I went for size 10. Excellent value for money.

Comfortable and perfect for wearing through summer at home or taking on holiday. Stylish with pockets and great cool fabric and fit. I’ve bought them in beige and black. They wash really well and only need a quick iron. The colour does not fade!!!

Nice floaty, drapery viscose fabric for summer. Good modest length- not too long or too short. Had to purchase several pairs as sizing comes up different even though ordering two of the same item. Would be nice to see more colours added to this style short.

With the recent hot weather, I decided to go against everything I normally do and buy some shorts. I had already purchased several pairs of the M&S trouser version so decided to go with these similar shorts. I have been delighted with the quality. The shorts were equally as good as the trousers. Comfortable and easy to wear in a good quality fabric, these might just have changed my mind about shorts! I am usually a 14 to 16 but go for ‘comfort sizing’ and these fitted well at 14.

These linen shorts are exactly what I needed for the current heatwave . I sized up which I think was a good idea as I think they come up quite small. The fabric is lovely and cool and I bought them in black to be more durable. I only wear them in the garden but they are not too short to wear out and about this weather.
