Jersey Printed Midi Bodycon Dress

Bought this dress in Black and Teal which is not at all like the bright Blue of the photo. This is a really well fitting flattering dress and had lots of compliments at work wgen I wore it. Was concerned that it might be too short but the size 12 regular was knee length on me and I'm 5 foot 1.

I ordered the turquoise and cream in this dress as I have a similar dress from M & S, which I love. The material in this new dress is jersey, but very soft and dressy. It is a lovely dress and I am not a great lover of bodycon dresses. Like a few other people I am not skinny, I am slim, but have a few bumps here and there. Don't be put off, all I do is wear a good slip underneath and if you have a bit if a tummy, the detail at the front disguises this. The colour is slightly darker than online, but still really lovely. This dress is really good value and could be worn to work or a wedding. It is a very good buy, especially as I bought it in the sale. M & S I would love to see more of these dresses in the summer range with short sleeves and jumpsuits with the same detail at the front. Really a beautiful dress. Well done M & S.

Unfortunately I found the dress too clingy. If the material was different I think it would have been much nicer. The colour and print of the dress Is what attracted me to ordering it . I am sure it would look fab on a taller ,slimmer person. So disappointed as it looked so smart on the model.

This was a lovely dress, the fit, shape and material were all great. However my eternal optimism was crushed when, as stated by other reviewers, it is NOT the colour stated. It almost looks like a lovely turquoise but it is in fact green!!!!! Had that not been the case I would have kept it.

As I don't normally wear dresses (they just never seem to suit me), I took a chance on this great value dress. I read previous reviews, which helped me to decide to buy it. I am really delighted with the style and fabric. It sits really well on my shoulders, my waist, my hips and the length is perfect (I'm 5' 2") The gathered fabric at waist level hides a multitude of sins making it very flattering indeed! If I wanted the dress to be any different, I would ask for it in other colours but that's just my personal choice. The cost of the dress is SO reasonable. Really pleased with this purchase

Ordered in the sale as an impulse buy which I thought may not be what I expected. Well I was right , it was far nicer than I thought it would be and a great find .Well done M & S

The dress is absolutely not blue as the picture portrays and so that is disappointing and should be corrected. But the dress is good value in the sale and a good addition to a work workdrobe

Following the previous reviews I ordered the Long version of this dress in my size. It’s perfect. Fits just below the knee (I’m 5ft 1in) as didn’t want above the knee for work. Travelled fabulously in the case and looked fresh after a day of meetings. Definitely a recommended buy

Delighted with this dress. I read the online reviews and ordered a size 14 and the longer length which fitted just over the knee. I am 5’3”. It is a perfect fit. You do need a long slip underneath if you want it to sit well and give the material some substance. This is the second type of dress I’ve recently bought from Marks but the previous dress from last season was too long and I had it shortened and my husband complimented me on it. I can’t wait to wear this one.

I ordered the dress in blue. Like other people have said, the colour is more green than blue. Having said that, it is a lovely little dress. It fits perfect, I like the material and I would definitely recommend it.

Pattern very busy & did not suit my shape. A little short for me also. Returned.

As other reviewers have said, the colour of this dress is nothing like the picture but does match the description of 'Teal'. Since blue/greens suit me, I liked the 'real life' colour. I am a slender shape - no hips and not much bust - and 5'4"/1.63m tall. I suit a bodycon style dress. However, in a 10, which I usually buy in M&S, the fit of this dress was weird. The twist of fabric has a knot at what I presume is supposed to be the waist but which was, on me, almost six inches too high. I felt as though I would constantly be puling the fabric down several inches. The overall length of the dress (in Regular) was just above my knee, which felt fine for the style. Incidentally, the fabric is very clingy - there's no hiding lumps and bumps or underwear lines. Sadly, not one to keep.

I am 59 and 5ft tall. Many of the petite dresses are above the knee which I don’t feel comfortable with. This dress sits just slightly below the knee. It’s very comfortable and very flattering. Not too clingy like some dresses. I thought the fit was perfect. I love it.
