These are lovely quality jeans; the style was just what I was after for my teenage boy. He is very slim, but has large calves (due to his sportiness), so skinny jeans are just too restrictive. I had hunted high and low for some non-skinny jeans with an adjustable waist (very hard to find on the high street). I had hoped these would be of a similar fit to his M&S school trousers, but no, they were at least two inches wider around the waist. Adjusting them as far as possible made the material around his bottom gape out - it looked like he was wearing a nappy! Not a good look for a teenager! I would recommend them if you have a 'plus' fit son. I've had to go to another retailer to get men's sized jeans in 26 short; not ideal as now having to pay adult prices for kids clothing. Please M&S, can you please, please stock straight legged jeans (with adjustable waist) in a slim fit waist?? There is a high demand for these! Just read the reviews on other retailer's websites and you will see that I am not alone in struggling to find trendy jeans for a slim teenager.

I bought these for may grandson who is tall and slim.They were a very good fit and did not bunch too much round the waist when adjusted to fit him. They seem to be of a good quality and were certainly excellent value as I bought them with 20% off.

Bought for my son as I liked the look of them. My son is not a slim fit he's somewhat over average with some hips. He tried on the jeans but they were tight and not comfy and he loves comfy so had to send it back. Back to the drawing board looking for a smart pair of jeans.

My only complaint about these jeans is the huge waist size. Although they are adjustable they are too wide for a slim young person. In as much as they become bulky and too puckered when tightened. This in turn spoils the appearance of them. Therefore I have returned them and bought a different style..

I have a fast growing teenager who is very tall and skinny !! trousers are a good fit and good quality for the money. They are a bit baggy around the waist and hips but my son is tall and very skinny in that area - and we have tried a few different brands to no avail !!Happy with these as they have the extendable waist. very happy with this item.
