Body Soft™ Recovery Post Surgery Bra A-H

I made an appointment at Bracknell M&S as I am having breast surgery soon and will need a post op bra. I met a wonderful member of staff who measured and ordered one for me. She had gone through the same procedure and was so very kind and supportive. Collected a couple of days later. Very much appreciated her help and sensitivity.

I’m happy to report that these bras do their job and I know the follow up survey is electronically generated, however… women who are buying them are going through a really tough time like myself following a diagnosis of breast cancer and it is extremely insensitive to be asked to review a product which we didn’t choose to buy. Perhaps a default block could be introduced for similar sensitive purchases

Very soft and comfortable and approved by my breast care nurse and surgeon. These bras will get me through my recovery period of several months.

Perfect fit and comfortable, really helped me post surgery

I had to send back as I could not get this on by myself or with help of my husband. There was not enough material to hook clip into. I ended up buying a post surgery bra from Cancer Research UK.

I needed a comfortable supportive day time bra post surgery and this does the job- so much so i bought 2. The design however would deffinately be better as hook & eyes (as the current hooks are fiddly especially when you haven't got you glasses on!) But overall i would recommend them.

I haven’t used it yet but from trying it on a couple of times before my surgery I found it lovely and soft and of good quality. The only drawback is the very small hooks that attach to the fabric they are very fiddly, I hope my husband will be able to do this for me after my surgery

Very soft and comfortable, very supportive with no underneath tugging, doesnt fold upwards. The velcro is strong enough to hold closed without the clips

Post thoracic surgery needed a soft front closure bra. This was perfect - once I got used to the closure. The adjustment to the straps at the front was great.

This bra was obviously designed by someone who doesn't wear bras. The hook and eyes drive you mad trying to do them up and undo them - so difficult. The velcro has a very hard bottom edge which digs in under your boobs and irritates very badly. The depth is far too shallow, and ends up tucked under your boobs, so you are forever pulling the whole thing down. Overall extremely disappointing. M&S designers please try talking to post-surgery wearers and actually listen to their comments.

I bought this to help after a lumpectomy, it was brilliant, it's offers great support especially when sleeping, the front fastening is a god send in first week of recovery

I found it uncomfortable, the elastic underneath the breast folded creating a hard ridge that cut into my ribs. Too many seams to rub against skin on the side when lymph nodes have been removed. The hook and eyes were difficult to use and stuck in the skin after a couple of hours as with the velcro fastening

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy. This bra has been so comfortable supporting my breast and not rubbing near my incision for the lymph nodes removal. I have dreaded having to wear a bra 24/7 for 6 weeks post op, but I have not been uncomfortable in these at all. They are supportive and definitely helping with pain etc.
